After 6 days in Cusco we finally tried Cicciolina based on various recommendations from friends. We ordered a "typical Peruvian" starter with guinea pig. This consisted mostly of mashed potato, topped with some 'shavings' of roasted guinea pig. There was so little of the meat that it was difficult to discern the taste. We recommend that you can skip this... More

I had read about Cicciolina in Cusco in several guide books-all raving about the food. One day in Cusco we walked near it and I suggested we check out the menu. My husband and I agreed that we should give it a try and luckily someone was there to take our reservations for the next night. The atmosphere is wonderfully... More

Cicciolina is by far the best food experience in Cuzco, start with a sampler of tapas, there are over a dozen different types to choose from and then go for one of the many Mediterranean & Peruvian fusion dishes for main course. Good idea to make a reservation beforehand, place is small and tends to pack up fast.

This place was recommended by a friend for tapas so I'm shocked it was not good. The food was tasteless and not fresh. I highly recommend NOT to go.

We stuck to the tapas as it gives you the opportunity to try everything. Started off with pisco sours to whet the appetite. Finished the meal with a straight up pisco to aid digestion. The wine list is very good but the overall winner is the food! Worth more than one visit!

On the positive side, the food was very good and the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. On the negative side, service was a bit off (waitress dumped an entire bottle of cold water in my lap, with only a hurried apology). And the 7 sole per person table fee is unusual, to say the least. Our most expensive meal... More

Cicciolina was the top pick in one of our guide books as well as well reviewed on TA so we made sure to try it before we left Cusco. Went there for a quick lunch on our last day. At around 1 pm on a weekday the place was busy but not too crowded with plenty of tables open in... More

we came here for tapas and light bites for dinner after having a big lunch elsewhere. This is quite the happening place...busy with what seemed like alot of "hip" locals and some tourists. We sat at a high top in the bar area by a window and had several small dishes....all very creative along with wines by the glass. I... More
