Excellent Peru/Italian food in Cusco

Ask a Peruvian from Lima where to eat and chances are they'll steer you to this Italian restaurant about two blocks from the Marriott hotel. Food is really good. The place looks like it's always packed for dinner time however we were very lucky and found a table for two right away. The service what very kind and dedicated. The place is warm. Food is very good. It's Andean / cusco cuisine but with a fusion touch. Very good food. We had octopus (cooked in a barbecue) and cusco... More

We booked a table at Cicciolina for our last night in Cusco, based on a recommendation, and it didn't disappoint. Lots to choose from on the menu (I had scallops followed by steak; both plates were delicious) and portion sizes were just right. Great value for money too. Definitely book ahead.

When we were leaving our hotel for a full day of sight seeing I saw some beautiful packaged boxes and wondered what lucky group was getting them. I was pleased to find out they were actually for our family... a boxed lunch to take with us. Our Guide Jimmy (Intense Peru) selected our lunch spot with a perfect view of... More

We ordered a few appetizers and main dishes to share 'cause we weren't hungry. The waiter was a little bit concerned at first, but took our orders anyway. Food was delicious and price very reasonable. Highly recommended.

We went for Lunch in this restaurant after one of the Cusco Tours. Have seen on trip advisor being one of best restaurants in Cusco, but no recommendations from known people. Above expectations and must confess was one of the best restaurants I have ever been! I have had the red trout with fried gnocchi. Fabulous. My wife had the... More

We heard this place is always booked out and really good from our hotel staff. We showed up at 6pm without a reservation. The attendant seated us with a 2 person table and said there's a reservation to that table at 7:30pm. We thought we could finish in an hour and half, so we took the table. We ordered causa... More

New-Andean food with a twist. Expect things like garlic foam alongside local ingredients such as cuy (guinea pig). My favourite: the calamari pasta. As with most Pervian restaurants, be sure to save some space for desert.

I've eaten at Cicciolina twice while in Cusco and have been very happy both times. The restaurant is cozy and more laid back than some of the other similarly priced restaurants in the area. Meat dishes tend to come a little more rare than order (ex. if you order medium it looks more like medium-rare), but overall the food is... More

The best restaurant I've been to in Peru and probably ever. Everything, from the drinks to the main course and the alpaca carpaccio was absolutely perfect. Completely out of the ordinary. A bit on the pricey side, but as many here mentioned, totally worth it. It fills up pretty quickly.
