Excellent food is on offer here. The drinks are great as well. I ordered the causa topped with stewed cuy (cool potato terrine with stewed guinea pig). It was tasty but didn't impress my palate. The dish that did impress was the alpaca steak in peppercorn sauce. The meat was cooked perfectly and tasted somewhere in between beef and lamb.... More

This is a great restaurant to visit, it is very luxurious and has really great food, the fruit juices are divine, a real must-try! The atmosphere is very intimate, a great place for a date, and the food is just delicious, the only thing that wasn't so great was the service, but the food is top-notch, probably the best restaurant... The reviews made it sound like the IT place. We though it was fine. Nothing to right home about. Felt a little rushed.

The food in Peru in general is really good. This place has a really nice atmosphere. The food is presented beautifully. And that's where the accolades end. The service that night was very slow(a Friday) A sautéed sweetbread appetizer was tough and rubbery. My wife ordered the daily special a Paiche, the largest freshwater fish in the world. The fish was... More

Although most raved about this place, I would say the good was just above average. We went for lunch and it was fairly empty. The bar and tapas is sectioned off before you enter the restaurant. That section was full. We had the onion soup,,,, was just ok. We ordered all 3 tapas selections to share. Small portions,,, about $45... More

My wife and I visited here our first night in Cusco. Lonely Planet had raved about the grilled octopus starter so we had that as an appetizer. Alas it was luke warm and somewhat small portion, not an auspicious start. Fortunately the meal itself was a win; I had the alpaca fillet and was reasonably impressed with how it was... More

I've been there 3 times and I was satisfied with their service and drinks. But I did not like the food so much. Their presentation of food is very nice so that is probably why people give such a good review. But they don't taste that good. The pasta and the risotto are overcooked (which is normal at this high... More

This is the place I ate for my last meal in Cuzco prior to my departure and I am glad I did. It was the best ending to one of the most memorable experiences of my life in Peru. I've spent more than $300 per meal at a comparable restaurant. But my bill at this restaurant came to less than... More

As a New Yorker with exceptionally fine tastes and a discerning palette, I am not easily impressed. However, I felt the need to come in here and really highlight how good Cicciolina really was. It is comparable to Michelin star restaurant in NYC. First, the service is good. It is not remarkable. This is just the way it is in... More
