Great authentic Peruvian food

This great little white table cloth restaurant in old town Cuzco is a gem. The owner chef also waits tables at times. I had Cut and the national dish should be tried, stuffed with herbs and roasted it was very tender and the mildly sweet meat was very tasty. Alpaca was also done perfectly. Matched... read more

Tried the Alpaca Saltado and loved it. The pisco sours were delicious. The service was on par with the speed in South America but with more attentiveness and responsiveness (in other words, just relax and enjoy your drink/chat while the delicious food comes). 4 pisco sours and 2 alpaca saltados with sides for less than $12 US.

Walked out of our hotel and we didn't get far. The owners kid sat outside keeping watch for potential customers and then a lady came out wielding menus. For 15 soles we thought why not. There was one other table occupied. We ordered the menu of the day which had several options- 4/5 per course. Servings were pretty decent and... More

This small restaurant is near our hotel and we id not want to go too far. We had looked at the menu a few days before and it looked attractive. We were not in the mood for much and ordered soups. Both really disappointing. My soup was a MAGGI soup mix and my wife's soup, was a thin broth with a... More

Our mountain bike guide took us here after a long day in the Sacred Valley, because we told him we wanted to try cuy. We stayed long enough to see the dinner show, which included some entertaining traditional dancing and "Peruvian country music," as our guide called it. The restaurant is very large, and appears great for big groups. There... More

We were looking for a good place to have Cuy (Guinea Pig) and just happened to stop at this restaurant. We could not have been happier with our choice. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. I believe the cuy was probably perfectly cooked, but I was not a fan. It has more skin than meat and... More

We paid 15 soles for a pre-fix dinner with an appetizer, entree and juice. This was a great value for the money and had very friendly staff. Lots of options and a bit cheaper than other places on the street. Tasty!

We loved the set menu for 15,- sol. with both local and international dishes to choose from. We choose the starter with avocado and after that the Alpaca meat and the fish. It was both prepared very good and was very tasteful. Another nice thing is that they give you the time to enjoy the diner. In two other restaurants... More
