Seledonia and her family are so nice! And the food is wonderful. Her sopa criolla is the best I've had, and the picante de Queso is delicious! Her hot chocolate is also to die for!

Seledonia's is a hidden gem of a restaurant. Her home is your place and she is a wizard in the kitchen. I've been there twice already and yesterday her specialty for Independence Day included alpaca ribs. Delicious!

We first found Seledonia's last year when we were visiting Cusco & loved the food as well as Selia & her family. If you are looking for an authentic experience with the best Lomo Saltado in town- this is it! The atmosphere is a mix of homey & stark, but the food and Selia warm it right up! Did I... More

This intimate place exceeded my expectations by far. And an excellent value. Earlier this week I ate at a place three times the price that couldn't hold a candle to the perfection of Seledonia's aji de gallina. This place has tons of heart with her family pictures and home style flavors sealing the deal. It's a must go!

Selia really makes a home away from home for many travellers. The atmosphere in her place is cosey and familiar, especially when the kids are around. And most imporant of all, the food is delicious! She makes a different dish every day and it never get´s boring to have lunch in her place. The plates on the Menu are very... More

We stumbled upon Seledonia's Mesa when wandering around through Cusco. The restaurant is inside Seledonia's home, it's a welcoming experience that was a nice change of pace from the tourist scene. We tried a number of items on the al a carte menu, including the alpaca cheesesteak, which was awesome. Apparently here signature dish is the spicy alpaca but we... More

Just down the road from Amaru 2 we originally went in for the menu del dia (less than 10 soles) that included a great bowl of Caldo de pollo (chicken soup) and Chicha Morada (a lovely drink made from purple corn) Don't expect a proper restaurant, rather a small family run eatery. There are only two long tables, so you... More

Her lomo saltado begins with top cuts of beef, skirt steak, which are not overcooked. The flavors and portions are solid. The sopa criolla was also very balanced - not too thin, rich, or salty. The soup also demonstrated an impressive use of cardamom, which is not an easy spice to balance or blend.

We were looking around cusco for a good, economical place to eat and stumbled upon this gem. For eight soles each we got a lovely chicken vegetable soup and then a main dish of steak and rice and beans with mint tea to drink. The woman who runs it was so sweet and personable and even sat for a bit... More

We discovered Seledonia's family restaurant by chance and have been eating there for lunch and dinner for the past 3 days. Her cuisine is fine and inventive and presented beautifully-all that with a smile and very reasonable price. Seledonia makes you feel right at home, we feel very lucky to have happened upon her place. If you are going to... More
