Seledonia's Mesa is the place to be in Cusco if you want a familiar athmosphere and truly excellent local food! Lunch at Selia's (as friends call her) is a sunny and joyful experience in her warm, covered patio. And dining is like being home at a Cusco family, enjoying some of Cusco's finest dishes in a cozy athmosphere. Cooking classes are part of the experience, too: so you can take Seledonia's wonderful cuisine back home!

Best Vegetarian dishes ♡

I went with a friend to Seledonia's Mesa and we enjoyed our evening a lot here. As a starter we took 'Papa a la huancaina' which was delicious. As a main dish I took 'Quinua vegetariana' which was a dream - just perfect! Seledonia & Joshua are super sweet and nice people with a perfect restaurant... read more

After a few days of altitude sickness - all i was craving was a warm homemade chicken soup. This was the ideal place. Chilli, chicken, noodles, onions, ginger and herbs in a delicious soup seriously helped me recover!

Had a lovely meal in the tiny Seledonia's Mesa - with Joshua as our server and Celia as our chef. So professional that she also has cooking classes. We had the yummy curry type dish and the quinoa crusted chicken tenders. I split the two with my friend and we couldn't decide which one was better. It may be a... More

Just finished an amazing late night dinner at Seledonia's Mesa. Joshua, our server, was excellent and offered the perfect suggestions. This is a must while in Cusco-you won't be disappointed!

Celia cooks really delicious food for a good price, which is the most important part of course. But on top of this she is such a sweet lady and the restaurant has a very cosy atmosphere, as it is in her home! I keep coming back here all the time! :)

This tiny restaurant gave us a most wonderful collection of dishes. The chicken in quinoa batter with strawberry sauce was delicious. They speak enough English and were much amused by our use of a phone translation so we could praise the food.

Amazing and authentic Peruvian cuisine and drinks at a small, family-run restaurant. The food is affordable and fresh. Selia (the owner and chef) is an extremely gracious host and provides a friendly atmosphere. She spoke with us at length after we finished our meal. Her two older children help out as wait staff. We were given complimentary Pisco drinks and... More

We ate at Seledonia's table several times during our stay in Cusco and always enjoyed the food and the service. They are such a friendly family. The highlight was our cooking class, which started early in the morning with a trip to the market. Seledonia showed us the sights of the fruit and veg market and we bought the ingredients... More

Seledonia has a small restaurant a bit out of the town center next to our hotel. Just walk in – even if you are not sure it is the right door. We had a simple, delicious meal after a big day at Machu Picchu and the train back. The quinoa soup was better than any I have had – and... More
