Description: It is the only gourmet restaurant of typical local food. We do not make fusion style. Located in the old palace of the Inca Tupac Yupanqui, we have vegetarian options. In Deva you can found the ancestral cuzco culture through its gastronomy. It is atended by its own owners. We have different Peruvian wines and piscos, and you can enjoy, if you wish so, the traditional "chicha de jora", drink that the Incas offered to the Sun in the Inti Raymi

I've eaten here a couple of times now. It's different from most of the other more touristy restaurants in Cusco but a big step up from some of the cheaper menu del dia places. All the food and ALL THE WINE are Peruvian - no pizza, no spag bol! Which is why I love it. Moreover, most of the food... More

The staff was amazing and helpful. It was here I tried my first cuy (Guinea pig). Our party was even invited back to the kitchen to see how it was prepared. The food was delicious, the portions were generous. I wish I had time to go back a second time!

Been to a "family style" restaraunt in Italy? (and this doesn't mean a kid-friendly place) Deva is the Peruvian equivilant. Very comfortable, interesting atmosphere in an old colonial building. Get a reservation, it was very busy the 2 nights we tried to get in. Great local food - at least 4-star dining, great execution. Second best restaraunt in Cusco.

Most people head off to the main square for a meal, Deva is worth finding. It is less than two blocks from the Casa Andinan Private Collection. Here you get a welcome drink and bread. We shared the quinoa soup which was very tasty and the pork dish (45 soles) or about $20. it was a sizable portion and very... More

Eddie is a man who clearly enjoys his job. It was fun to have an evening there with a great meal of guinea pig and local beer and, as with some other reviewers, a trip to the kitchen to see how it's done. Food was good and not expensive.

We chose this restaurant on the recommendation of our guide, a suggestion which was reinforced by the high rating it had in Trip Advisor. I have no complaints about the food, which was good but not exceptional, and the prices were good. Our main disappointment was in the service we received, which was best described as off-hand. Whereas some diners... More

I had several great meals in Peru but that is one of my top picks along with Pachapapa. I actually had a hard time selecting what I wanted from the menu because everything looked so good. I decided to get the Alpaca which I got at several places. The thing I really enjoyed about this dish is the interesting way... More

We're so glad we went to this restaurant recommended by our friendly tour operator Anthony. The restaurant serves traditional Cusco food from the Inca and Colonial periods. We had the grilled alpaca tenderloin, ceviche and fried guinea pig, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were invited back to the kitchen to see how the food was prepared, what herbs... More

A group of 9 of us ate here for dinner and had a great time. The service was not speedy, but it was very relaxed and friendly. Our server even brought us into the kitchen to see how they prepare the cuy and tell us about some of the local produce! It was a really fun evening. The food was... More
