Description: It is the only gourmet restaurant of typical local food. We do not make fusion style. Located in the old palace of the Inca Tupac Yupanqui, we have vegetarian options. In Deva you can found the ancestral cuzco culture through its gastronomy. It is atended by its own owners. We have different Peruvian wines and piscos, and you can enjoy, if you wish so, the traditional "chicha de jora", drink that the Incas offered to the Sun in the Inti Raymi

Deva's is definitely my top recommendation for dinner in the historic district. Very accomodating & knowledgable waitstaff who can turn a simple meal into a culinary educational experience for those who are interested in Peruvian history & culture.

Peru rules in this restaurant dedicated to foods from the country. Extra effort goes towards creating traditional dishes made from ingredients sourced within Peru, with some courses possible on menus back in Inca times. One of the few places really serving rocoto relleno during our stay (many listed it, but only three served it), this was the best of the... More

Doesn't need any more comment! But I have to supply 100 characters. However, they do not add anything to the headline. Trout, red onion, white corn in paper hot lime.

Deva restaurant Tipico We were told about this restaurant by our tour guide when we arrived in Cusco. It is not a big place but it is very clean. The service was excellent, they bring a small bowl of roasted corn with pieces of cheese and a small glass of corn beer to start. We had the Lomo Saltado which... More

Best soup I have ever eaten, great value for money and excellent service. A lot of love goes into the authentic food they prepare. Lovely place that I highly recommend.

Eddy's front of house service is excellent and he is able to provide information about the food customs and dishes with ease. Excellent vegetarian options if your not up for the alpaca and guinea pig.

We came here on our first night in Cusco in search of local cuisine. We left having great food (especially the alpaca steak with quinoa, the chicken soup, and chicha (corn beer)). All remarkable. Perhaps best was was our server, Alfredo (a Quechuan), brought out two plates to see: one with a diversity of potatoes from the region, the other... More

The meal was great , we had starters and main course , two of us decided to try the guinea pig and the other an Andean potato stew . We went to watch the guinea pig being prepared in the kitchen which was a great detail and one we won't forget . The service was fantastic and personal , we... More

This is the typical local place in cusco, the menu is all with local dishes, and also the music and the decoration. Best chicha morada in out trip trough Peru, if you decide to go, do not hesitate on ask for the Alpaca Meat, Or maybe the famous local dish Guinea Pig (Cuy).., they prepare it with the local recipe..... I've eaten here a couple of times now. It's different from most of the other more touristy restaurants in Cusco but a big step up from some of the cheaper menu del dia places. All the food and ALL THE WINE are Peruvian - no pizza, no spag bol! Which is why I love it. Moreover, most of the food... More
