Description: It is the only gourmet restaurant of typical local food. We do not make fusion style. Located in the old palace of the Inca Tupac Yupanqui, we have vegetarian options. In Deva you can found the ancestral cuzco culture through its gastronomy. It is atended by its own owners. We have different Peruvian wines and piscos, and you can enjoy, if you wish so, the traditional "chicha de jora", drink that the Incas offered to the Sun in the Inti Raymi

We had dinner there and decided to have their Guinea pig. We were taken to the kitchen to show us how it was prepared and to take some photographs. It was well prepared. The service was great. We were also given complimentary pisco sour drinks before the meal. Their ice cream dessert was also excellent. The whole dining experience was... More

My husband and I just had dinner here. It is our last night here and we happened to stumble upon this hidden gem. As soon as we walked in Alfredo gave us impeccable service. He took our umbrella from us, brought us some sample Cecha drinks native to peru that were delicious. It was so thoughtful. The best part of... More

Restaurant is used a lot by the locals. Staff very friendly. They gave us good advice on choices of food, especially on first night when they advised us not to have heavy meal, but rather have "hen" or lamb soup, to help us combat effects of altitude. They also gve us refreshing drink made from corn. Prices were very reasonable.... More

After reading some very good reviews of this place we were left disappointed by our experience. The food wasn't fresh and the quality of service, despite the waiter being a nice guy, was less than average. Maybe we just got it on a bad day (new year's) but that shouldn't be used as an excuse. It's a pity because the... More

Really lovely restaurant, classy Peruvian decor and genuinely interested host. We were allowed to go and see the guinea pig being cooked and the food was high quality. Would recommend if you want a Peruvian meal. Not great if you want western food though.

Deva's is definitely my top recommendation for dinner in the historic district. Very accomodating & knowledgable waitstaff who can turn a simple meal into a culinary educational experience for those who are interested in Peruvian history & culture.

Peru rules in this restaurant dedicated to foods from the country. Extra effort goes towards creating traditional dishes made from ingredients sourced within Peru, with some courses possible on menus back in Inca times. One of the few places really serving rocoto relleno during our stay (many listed it, but only three served it), this was the best of the... More

Doesn't need any more comment! But I have to supply 100 characters. However, they do not add anything to the headline. Trout, red onion, white corn in paper hot lime.

Deva restaurant Tipico We were told about this restaurant by our tour guide when we arrived in Cusco. It is not a big place but it is very clean. The service was excellent, they bring a small bowl of roasted corn with pieces of cheese and a small glass of corn beer to start. We had the Lomo Saltado which... More
