It is the only gourmet restaurant of typical local food. We do not make fusion style. Located in the old palace of the Inca Tupac Yupanqui, we have vegetarian options. In Deva you can found the ancestral cuzco culture through its gastronomy. It is atended by its own owners. We have different Peruvian wines and piscos, and you can enjoy, if you wish so, the traditional "chicha de jora", drink that the Incas offered to the Sun in the Inti Raymi

Great Peruvian food.

It was our first night in Cusco and we wanted to try the local food. Our guide recommended Deva. The staff was terrific - very friendly, accommodating, and informative. They even allowed us to see the guinea pig cooking in the kitchen. Very cool!

At the hotel reception we were adviced to visit this restaurant. And we really liked it, so we went back there several times. They offer Peruvian food. Alpaca steak and Guinea Pig are something I would recommend. Service is attentive, they will explain everything you want to know. Location is very central. There is no need for reservation. Everytime we... More

Our Tour Guide recommended this restaurant to try Peruvian food. We arrived late at night and were the only peopled (7 of us) in the restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and explained alpaca and guinea pig (cuy) dishes and recommended a red wine for us to try. There are other choices on the menu as we had a vegetarian... More

This was a nice surprise to us. The restaurant was recommended to us by our tour guide, and we decided to give it a shot as we wanted to try some local cuisine. The restaurant is located near the cusco center, but it might be a bit hard to figure out at first. For those of you who decide to... More

We ate here tonight and could not wait to write a review! This was such a fantastic dining experience, unparalleled in the two months that we have travelled South America. The food was delicious and described and presented by the attentive owner who has such an obvious passion for authentic Peruvian cuisine. We had the fried guinea pig, alpaca tenderloin... More

We had dinner there and decided to have their Guinea pig. We were taken to the kitchen to show us how it was prepared and to take some photographs. It was well prepared. The service was great. We were also given complimentary pisco sour drinks before the meal. Their ice cream dessert was also excellent. The whole dining experience was... More

My husband and I just had dinner here. It is our last night here and we happened to stumble upon this hidden gem. As soon as we walked in Alfredo gave us impeccable service. He took our umbrella from us, brought us some sample Cecha drinks native to peru that were delicious. It was so thoughtful. The best part of... More

Restaurant is used a lot by the locals. Staff very friendly. They gave us good advice on choices of food, especially on first night when they advised us not to have heavy meal, but rather have "hen" or lamb soup, to help us combat effects of altitude. They also gve us refreshing drink made from corn. Prices were very reasonable.... More
