We went for dinner, not realizing that the more recent reviews were not good. We were the only ones in the restaurant...we ordered eggplant penne. The pasta was so overcooked that it stuck to your teeth! It was overall terrible, do not come here to eat!

The menu offered a large variety pasta dishes, but the restaurant was out of, or no longer serving, any of their traditional entrees. The pasta was decent, but definitely nothing special and a little over priced. The chef did come out to thank our table for dining with them and was genuinely grateful. Our server was very kind, but our... More

I'd read the good reviews and tried it for lunch. I was the only person there and even though the owner was nice, I still waited 45 minutes for a pizza. I wasn't expecting fast food, but could have had it delivered in less time. Very average pizza and rather disappointing given the options in Cusco. I think Encanto is... More

From the moment we arrived we knew we had come to a place which knew what good food and good service was all about. Angelo is a passionate chef who took the time to talk through the menu and whip up two delicious pastas. An intimate setting with a distinct ode to Italy, Roma mia is something you would expect... This was outstanding true Italian food which is hard to find outside of Italy. The pizza had a perfect thin crust and tasted incredible. We has the crudo pizza and added some mushrooms which the chef (who visited our table and was incredibly gracious and helpful) helped us navigate. We had two pastas, the house favorite (it was the first... More

We found the staff really friendly. The chef came out to talk to us as the waiter couldn't understand us and he was a really warm and helpful guy. We were really disappointed that the gnocchi was not available ( still on way from Italy apparently) as that was what we had really wanted for dinner. Not sure why the... More

Had the pizza, pasta, and salad when our kids wanted a taste of home while in Cusco. They were out of the gnocchi and tortellini (slow shipment from Italy). Tasted like a good Italian restaurant in the US. Bruschetta toppings were excellent.

The pizza was great, the only complaint would be that they took 45 to prepare the pizza and the restaurant only had one other table occupied.

Roma Mia was a little slice of italy in the middle of Cusco! Just amazing! My husband and I found this gem on our last night in Cusco, but it was one of the culinary highlights of our trip! From the heavy pour of wine to the flavorful woodfired pizza and amazing pasta carbonnara everything was perfect! The chef is... More

Roma Mia – Managed by a Peruvian wife with her husband, who is the Italian chef. He’s from Rome. The spinach was the best I’ve ever had. The pasta was terrific. The bruschetta was some of the best I’ve ever had too; a variety is presented on the plate: traditional style with fresh tomatoes, another with a yummy black olive... More
