I had dinner at La Bodega during a recent trip to Cusco. One of the best pizza restaurants I have eaten at in any country. They had a great selection of house specials and a good selection of none pizza food items.

This place is extremely popular, and gets very busy on evenings. It is a little cramped inside, but the staff are really good, service is quick, and the food is good value for money.

Excellent service, nice settings. The menu is pretty basic but sufficient. We had a medium sized pizza, each half a different taste (La Bogeda/La Buenaza). The pizzas are nice but probably too many black olives on the "La Buenza" so you do not taste the prosciutto much. Try the mango and kiwi desert, very nice after a good meal. And... More

Sure, their pizzas are great ( and I like the idea that you can order your pizza one half of one kind and the other half of another - good for indecisive people :p) but there are also other good choices in LaBodega than pizza. The salads are huge and really good and fresh with good dressings. We also enjoyed... More

Terrific pizza from wood-fired ovens. If you need a quick break from South America while on your Peru vacation, Bodega 138 has the vibe of a hip pizzeria you'd find in the US. I felt like I was back home in San Francisco.

I did not eat here so cannot comment on the food. Was wandering around while my travel mate was adjusting to the altitude (i.e., she was sick...) and stopped in at the bar for a libation (or two). Great beer selection, owner/manager very friendly.

Every city needs a great pizza place for travellers. Its a way of leaving the local cuisine as great as it might be, and trying something familiar. Pizzas are wonderful and the wine list for south American wines is excellent. The Chilean owners are really efficient at getting you seated. This is a popular place it might look like a... More

We had great dining in Cusco and Bodega 138 was one of the best treats! Pizzas were thin and you could taste each of the ingredients without feeling overwhelmed by too much tomato or cheese. Salads were also fresh and tasty. They were prepared so you can taste the ingredients not being overpowered by a strong vinaigrette or any other... More
