Appreciated Fresh, Peruvian touches

Quinua & mango salad with organic lettuce was great, as was the quinua & veggie soup my husband ordered. Very cute local restaurant.

You have to be attentive in looking for this place. There's a smallish sign hanging on the building at second floor level. When you see that, you have to look for the entrance to a courtyard where you head in and then up to the second floor to the restaurant. No menus on display anywhere before you're actually inside. The... More

Like some of the other reviewers, we were introduced to this restaurant through our G Adventures tour, but liked it so much we returned for another meal later in the trip. Great place to try Alpaca meat - either in a stew or burger.

Our G Adventures guide suggested this restaurant to our group. It was a great recommendation. The place is a little hard to find, but once you do it's well worth it. It is tucked within a little market nook and you can take your time strolling and admiring local artwork before/after your meal. Staff were very friendly, the setting was... More

A little hard to find, walk into courtyard past souvenir vendors and climb stairs to second floor. Waiter explained each dish and willing made substitutions to suit taste of one of our party. We each ordered something different and each were impressed with the taste and presentation. I will return when back in Cusco in a few days.

Aguaymanto Resto Bar is a small charming restaurant with its own style. It is a little hard to find the place, but it is worth looking for! We have been traveling in Peru for 5 weeks and I can safely say that this is the best restaurant we've been to. The staff was nice and helpful! But the best thing... More

We went to Aguaymanto to take a cooking class and came out more than happy! Angel is quite a chef and a guide; he took us to the market and showed us fruits we had never seen before, made us taste them and explained what we would need for our class. Back at the restaurant, since it was not too... More

We went to Aguaymanto to enquire about a cooking class, and it became our favourite place in Cuzco in an instant. Emma makes the most amazing chilcano (you know an outstanding cocktail maker when you see her taste her creations numerous times as she mixes them), and the food is incredible. Manuel has managed to create a super welcoming atmosphere... More

My husband and I really enjoy this cooking class. First, we went to look around the local fresh market. We did in the morning. It is perfect timing, since the market is not too busy. Then we learn to make Pisco Sour and Chilcano, and Alpaca Saltado. We also can request other meals such as ceviche, but we have to... More
