A beautiful French restaurant in beautiful Cusco. Cannot fault it at all. Lovely setting, lovely food and perfect service. And by European standards not expensive at all! I think booking ahead is the sensible option to avoid being disappointed.

We stayed in Cusco for four days, and visited alle the top choices for dining. Le soleil is by far the best place when it comes to both food and hospitality. We were received by the owner Arthur, and his manager Maria, both very lovely people, and was served the best dinner so far in Peru. We chose the 7... More

Dinner at Le Soleil was our last meal in Cusco-one of the most beautiful, interesting and historic cities we've ever been to- and this final meal provided a fabulous finale to a fantastic trip in Peru. No doubt about it: this restaurant has managed to create a French gourmet experience that easily ranks in the top compared with other gourmet restaurants in France. Both when it comes to the food, the drinks and the service. We tried their pumpkin ginger cream with truffle oil and croutons and thought we were in heaven. As a main course... More

3 choices: 5 course @135 soles, 7 course taster menu or a la carte. Opted for stuffed quail & 16 hour (slow cooked in red wine) lamb shanks.
