Great French food in an unexpected place

Very good - surprise birthday dinner by my friends during a trip across Peru. Delicate food (snails were amazing), and the wine, rest of the food too. Would come back

We, a group of 5 people came to Cusco after hiking Huayna Picchu and discovered this gem which was within walking distance to our hostel. We decided to treat ourselves a nice supper after the exciting hike! We were even in our hiking outfits...we went for the standard course menu. I am not a french food expert but the food... More

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner here on June 3rd, 2015. This is real french cuisine - no compromises, no "fusion" - and it is excellent. Service was superb - attentive and friendly but not overbearing. Highly recommended.

The only reason we came here was because of the reviews on TA (how did travellers know where to stay/eat prior to this wonderful site?). We arrived around 7-7.30pm and were the only ones there, which made it feel a little sterile, but as it filled up, it felt 'warmer'. Our waitress was great, as was the owner, who by... More

After a full day of touring Cusco, we were too tired to walk far and Le Soleil was directly across from our hotel. We were hungry and it was too early to eat but the proprietor opened the door as we looked in at 6 and promised us the best table if we would return at 7 so we did.... More

Lovely warm welcome and service. Pleasant dining room. Food very decent French cooking: enjoyable if not especially spectacular. A nice change from some of the more creative Peruvian restaurants around if you're craving well cooked traditional fare.

Five star restaurant for food and service. The wait staff was the Owner and a young waiter. My wife had fish and I lamp chops - all tasted great. Wine by the glass was good and not expensive. This was a welcome surprise from the Peruvian food we had been eating for the last few days.
