Description: This restaurant is INCREDIBLE!! They have an amazing mix of American, European, even African/Indian foods with traditional Peruvian mixes/accents. The decor is enough to make anyone fall in love with this locale alone. I found it because it was featured in the new edition of Lonely Planet and the food and drinks are to die for. It was by far my favorite restaurant in Cusco; I even went there twice! Absolutely delicious.

both food and drinks are carefully planned around main ingredients of peru. They have a few vegetarian options that showcase protein-rich entrees and main courses (with quinoa, tarwi, etc). The location is great - though the terrace is better enjoyed at lunch rather than dinner. Try to make a reservation.

We tried the alpaca, and lomo saltado. DELICIOUS. Unfortunately it was raining and couldn't enjoy their rooftop, but the inside was lovely. Tried the pisco sours, knocked me for a loop! Very nice place, great waiter!

We were recommended to this restaurant by our tour guide Alex Silva. In fact he took us there to make the booking. We had had a big lunch so when we attended for dinner we were somewhat doubtful about a big dinner. The service was excellent including some drinks on the rooftop. It was cold but the view was spectacular.... More

We had traditional Peruvian soups and Pisco drinks with Peruvian chiles. It was all excellent. Great ambiance too. We went up to the roof top, but it was too cold that night. It would be an great place to dine and drink when warm enough.

Amazing food, really good ambiance, and really enjoyed the avacodo and shrimp app! The cheesecake was also food, if not surprisingly spicy!

Great setting with a rooftop setting, however no sun protection. My dish was great, but my husbands had some uncooked vegetables which took him out for nearly 2 days. Service started well but then vanished. Would not return.

We were here for dinner at the recommendation of the hotel staff at Casa Andina Koricancha. It's within an easy walk from the hotel and they called ahead to make reservations for us. We were treated to a wonderful meal! All 4 of us had alpaca tenderloin, but each person had it prepared with a different sauce. Yum! The sides... More

We came to this restaurant off the street with no expectations. The food was great and service exceptional. They have menus in both English and Spanish. The food was fresh and light which is exactly what we needed. Would definitely recommend this to anyone

We were looking for something special and our tour guide recommended this to us. The service was brilliant (particularly Edson) and the staff were so,so attentive. I had alpaca kebabs which were delicious and my wife had shrimp dish with a mango sauce - yum. We had been eating in the touristy cafes and this restaurant was just a "Jewel... More

I went to Marcelo Batata twice during my week in Cusco, and each time it was excellent. The first time I went, we had drinks on their amazing rooftop. The second was a full dinner with our group of five. Each time Carmen was our server, and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the food. Definitely a mandatory stop... More
