This restaurant is INCREDIBLE!! They have an amazing mix of American, European, even African/Indian foods with traditional Peruvian mixes/accents. The decor is enough to make anyone fall in love with this locale alone. I found it because it was featured in the new edition of Lonely Planet and the food and drinks are to die for. It was by far my favorite restaurant in Cusco; I even went there twice! Absolutely delicious.

Excellent restaurant near Plaza des Armas

My wife and I truly enjoyed our dinner at Marcelo Batata restaurant in May. The restaurant is a short walk from Plaza des Armas, as well as just down the street from the Monasterio, which is the premier hotel in the city. We had a delicious smoked trout appetizer and the alpaca tenderloins with... read more

If you're in Cusco, you have to at least go have a drink on this rooftop, and if you have time, stay for dinner. The roof overlooks the city and Plaza de Armas, with mountains as the backdrop, it's incredible. The wine and food were great as well. It has a very modern take on Peruvian cuisine, and was a... This restaurant was one of our two favorites while staying in Cusco. We had a delicious meal with great service and friendly staff. We tried the alpaca steak which was tender and delicious and also the lomo saltado which was made with beef tenderloin and melted in the mouth.

The Causita is probably the best Causa I have ever had, which says a lot because I live in Lima and Causa is a traditional dish there. Also, if you want something that is not on their menu, you can ask about it and they may be able to get it for you (in this case it was Ceviche) The... More

Come here for their main attraction -- grill Alpaca. We have medium, but would recommend medium rare. It is one of my best meals (value for $$) during the whole Peru visit. Although a bit pricy but the serving is huge enough for 2 persons. Waitress was very friendly and gave good recommendation on the wine to go with our... More

Good food with nice options with traditional ingredients but with a modern touch. A bit pricey but large portions, friendly staff and quick service

Incredible food, service and mood! If your feeling less energized try the pollo soup! the potato starter is amazing. They have veggie and non veggie! It's our second dinner here!

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! It is very tasty and well presented. I had the Smoked Trout Causa as a starter. The taste was spectacular. Then I had the Alpaca with wild mushroom sauce. Again, the taste was spectacular.

This restaurant has one of the best views in Cusco restaurants if not the best. It was way to cold to enjoy a dinner when we went so we elected to sit in a crowded area inside. It is very cozy. We were delighted with our food.
