Tasty and friendly

I got the alpaca kebabs. So filling and tasty!! My friend got chicken choffa which was also so tasty and we couldn't even finish it. We saw the Guinea pig are other tables and ate definitely coming back to try. Staff very friendly especially Luciano. Reasonable prices Aswell.

The restaurant itself was beautiful and clean. We wanted to try cuy before we left Cusco but were hesitant to eat at some of the street establishments. We're so glad we found KusiKuy. Our waiter was so friendly and the cuy itself was very good. They brought it out whole so we could take pictures with it and then they... More

The food was amazing and tasteful, the presentation (which I could care less about) was spectacular, the Pisco drinks were strong, and the staff was friendly and had a great sense of humor. Bring your camera. They bring it out whole so you can take a picture, then they take it back and cut it up to eat.

They are a little bit hide from the tourist view but it is just 2 min walking from the city center. They have over 20 years of experience and it is the right place to taste the Peruvian guinea pig. Don't be afraid, it is delicious!!! The owners are a lovely couple that keep all Peruvian traditions.

Kusikuy is located a little bit further from the action. My friend and I were getting sketched out as we walked up the hill to the restaurant later in the evening. The cuy was great!

Had heard it was great so saved it for our "last meal"...a good idea. Had we gone there first we may have eaten no where else!

Kusikuy means happiness in Quechan, but, boy, did we have a hard time finding the restaurant. The pedestrian street that it is on was not on our map, and we lucked out by getting close and asking at a hotel. The place is small and cozy, painted a cheery pink with glass windows onto a garden. They give your free... More

Traditional peruvian food at it's best, very nice environment and the nicest waiter and host you could imagine, service was fast and so friendly! With a fancy presented guinea pig (tender and moist) and a free shot at the end.

Considering the cuy is about the same price as all the other tourist restaurants I saw located in the plaza central of both Cusco and Aguas Calientes, this is a much better bang for your buck. It feels like you're eating in a 5-star restaurant. I can't speak to how this cuy compares to others, as this is the only... More
