After reading amazing reviews about this place, i was thoroughly disappointed. The cuy (guinea pig) was served warm rather than hot. Not sure if the restaurant is to blame, but it wasn't very good. The Pisco sour was also disappointing. Still hungry after the main course, we decided to order a salad, which turned out to be even more disappointing... More

We went to this Restaurant due to a recommendation of our hotel since we wanted to try some local peruvian food. Immediatelly after having entered the restaurant we felt very welcome in this warm and friendly atmosphere. The food was great. I had Spaghetti and my boyfriend Guinea pig. Both was very delicious. You should also try the refreshing special... More

Awesome presentation for the cuy. The food was good. If you want the roasted cuy it takes an hour so be prepared to wait.

3 blocks from Intro Hostel where we stayed. Owner just opened this second location on a quiet street after 25 years of success on Plaza de Armas. This is high quality food at a price you can afford becuase of Peruvian currency. Normal dishes like the quinoa soup were really a step up and DELICIOUS. We had alpaca, lamb, chicken,... More

We tried the alpaca, stuffed peppers and vegetable soup and the food, service and atmosphere were all delightful. Highly recommend going here to try some local food. We didn't try the guinea pig, but it looked good!

I was looki for a typical peruvian restaurant, where I could eat a cuy, and the KusiKuy was perfect. Nice place, nice food, nice service. I really had a good time there, and was treated as a guest.

We were searching for a restaurant to try Gunea Pig in and this restaurant was recommended to us by a local and it did not dissappoint. The roasted guinea pig was delicious, very reasonably priced and the portion was massive. Really enjoyed the stuffed meat peppers that accompanied the dish. Excellent service, friendly staff, a free pisco sour on arrival... More

The only trouble is to find the place, it has changed the location and the owner told us that the map is giving the wrong location and he has been trying to ask people to change it but until now it was not possible, but keep looking a little more and ask for directions to local people and you won't... Best cuy in the city of Cusco. Friendly staff, the owner himself was our waiter and told us how the Cuy is prepared. It takes 1 hour exactly to get ready (since it is fresh), but totally worth it.

First of all, please note that the address of this place has changed to Calle Amargura. To get to it, go up Calle Suencia, away from the direction of the Plaza de Armas, after a few hundred yards there are some steps going down the left side of the road. These run parallel to the road for about 10 steps,... More
