Excellent Host. Great Food.

My son and I swore we would have cuy when we got to Cusco. I'm glad we picked this place. We were apprehensive to try cuy, but Luciano made this a great experience. The cuy was fantastic. The seasoning and herbs used made it very tasty. I recommend and none who hasn't tried cuy, to have it hear. I... read more

We went to this restaurant and they were reserved out and we were turned away at first, but Luciano was nice enough to seat us in another room and I am so glad he did. The trout there was the best I had on my trip! Far warning though, it is a climb up there from the main plaza!

It was our first time trying the cuy, and initially I was a little apprehensive. Luciano was a wonderful host, making us feel welcome; following his recommendations we ordered both the roasted cuy and grilled alpaca. They didn't disappoint. The cuy was reasonably priced. Usually you're able to find it for S/60-70 in Cusco; in Kusikuy it's S/65. The grilled... More

Owner served us, his family lives upstairs. it's worth the treck from plaza del armas. Food is good, includes veggie options, fish, meat, alpaca, and other fun stuff. good beer, and a dog in a sweater. that's not a beer there's an actual dog in a sweater here. Also Wi-Fi (writing this from the restaurant). cash only. Give it a... More

Very studenty place full of young Americans.Roast cuy was what we came for and it was good.Rather a large meal for 2! Not expensive. Out of town and a taxi needed.

My husband and I tried this restaurant after reading the reviews here and were certainly not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious from the tamale appetizer to the roasted cuy. The presentation is great and the cuy is certainly worth the wait. The restaurant is cozy with a very nice ambience. Luciano goes above and beyond in his hospitality and... More

Let me begin by saying , this restaurant is very cozy. The host is very hospitable and his assistant .He really helps you especially with the menu and for those who cannot speak fluent Spanish. The hotel is located some flights of steps in a somewhat dark street, never the less that did not inhibit me from entering.I took a taxi and... More

Beautiful restaurant, lovely decor, super friendly owner, great music and ambiance, beautiful presentation of cuy (and yummy!)!! Definitely go here for the roast cuy. Get a bottle of wine (very reasonably priced) and wait for the cuy to come to your table! The cuy was perfect to share for two.

It's a restaurant mostly for tourists but we had a good time here. We stopped by the restaurant to make a same day reservation and the owner Luciano was very helpful and told us to call and order the guinea pig an hour in advance so we wouldn't have to wait. Entrees typically cost around 30 soles. We got the... More
