We found with this place tuck inside a small ally just a couple of blocks from the heart of the center. We found the decor to be very Peruvian in style. We ordered a couple Cuzqueñas beers the Alpaca and the Cuy al horno was awesome. The service was great and prompt. When the food was serviced we were impressed... More

Small restaurant a bit off the beaten path. A bit hard to find as halfway up some of the ubiquitous stairs up the many hills in Cusco. The restaurant actually was closed for a wedding later in the evening, but the owner took pity and opened up for us. :) Food was great; portions are HUGE, so consider sharing a... More

Let's start by saying get ready for stairs!!! The place is in the middle of a ton of stairs, but it’s well worth it. The place is nice, quiet, and great service. I had my first experience with Cuy here and it takes about a hour to prepare, so be ready for to wait and grab a couple pisco sours.... More

if you don't mind more steps, this place is a gem! climb up and have a seat near the bar area on the couches. have the owner recommend something for you (we got the fried stuffed peppers with meat and the lama with what tasted like quinoa risotto) - soooo goooood! but be careful, portions are BIG and if you're... First time to try cuy. It took an hour to grill. The dish came with the whole perfect cuy, an empanada with filling of minced cuy's offal and some green pea. And a potato with salsa sauce. After presenting this to you for taking photo. They would take it back to cut it up for you. Cuy , to me,... More

I have been eating at this restaurant for the last 15 years. The best guinea pig in town! The alpaca is great too. Their daily menu is very tasty with fantastic soups.

We had just arrived in Cusco and our hotel recommended the restaurant. The place is quite pretty, the owner was wonderful. He was very warm and friendly. The food was excellent so it was an all round great experience and left us with a good impression of Cusco

Spent a fantastic couple of hours here while traveling alone through Cusco. Luciano was a great host, who chatted casually and made great appetizer reco's (quinua soup was great). The cuy was tasty. Finally, the decor of the place makes you feel really comfortable- it's got a rustic feel while featuring some really great modern paintings from local artists.

If you're planning to have some Guinea pig in Cuzco, then go to Kusikuy, it's nicely presentated on your plate first and then they chop up the meat. Lovely taste ! We went in the afternoon, almost no other clients, so very quiet and peaceful. The owner of the restaurant had all the time for us, and was even quite... More

Came here to try cuy. It takes an hour in the oven, we had (terrific) guacamole while waiting. Good idea might be to share the cuy between two people because we hardly touched our other main (a shame because it was really good alpaca). Luciano our charming waiter made us feel at home instantly. He was proud explaining about the... More
