Just an average restaurant. No. special service, ok food, good wine. They have all peruvian specialties, but nothing more. Had the bulls hearth, but no sauce with. In other reviews i read about the good sauces. My mates had the same food experience; good but not great. Keep your money and go to Baco. Baco is 10% more expensive and... More

Apps: Mexican guacamole and aji. Mixed kabobs, a soltado dish, chiccarones, and cuy for entrees, and several pisco sours. Total bill: approx 84USD. Everything (EVERYTHING) was superb. Not a single negative that I can think of. Cuy is available in one hour.

Just dined at this restaurant after reading the glowing reviews on here, and was not disappointed. This was our first experience with cuy, and the chef explained what each part of the dish was and how best to eat it. Food was outstanding and we tried the chocolate cake too which was made with pisco - awesome. Beautiful decor too.... More

This was my girlfriend and I's favorite restaurant in Peru - everyone must absolutely go. The decor of the restaurant is very nice and classy and our waiter was extremely kind and helpful. He recommended the cuy al horno and the stuffed avocado, which are both two of the most memorable dishes I've had in South America. To explain what... More

I wanted to experience cuy in Peru and after asking around chose this restaurant for the dish. I was not disapointed!

Didn't want to stick to the usual "top 10" restaurants in Cuzco.. instead my buddy and I stumbled into this family owned establishment based on excellent online reviews. And we're not disappointed. In fact, was one of the better dining experiences I've had while travelling. 1. Cuy al horno. Gotta eat guinea pig when in Cuzco. Family farm raised cuys... More

This restaurant was amazing, and one of my mom's favorite restaurants in our whole Peru trip (including Central and La Mar in Lima!). We ordered the roast Cuy (takes an hour) and was super tasty. We also ordered anticucho (beef heart) and the roast lamb, delicious! We hihgly recommend this place. The server/owner were really friendly too. Note that when... More

Kusikuy was recommended to us by our hostel for the guinea pig. Our hunger meant we could not afford the hour wait for roast guinea so went for potato with cheesy sauce and the alpaca kebab. The sauces on these two dishes alone was enough to come back. Food was delicious, people were friendly. So good we plan on going... More

The wait time for the chef to prepare cuy is a minimum of one hour. Ohh and it S/65 or $22.00. Not worth it. Cuy is a staple food in Peru, it is cheap and plentiful. This is a total rip off.

We’re very sorry to hear that you’ve had this experience in our restaurant. We freshly prepare the guinea pig as soon as a customer orders it, which is why it takes around an hour to prepare, which is clearly explained on the menu. The price of this dish, which is for two people, reflects its quality and complexity as it... More

We knocked on the door on a day it was actually closed, and upon hearing that we were about to leave Cuzco without tasting the Cuy, the owner offered to open exclusively for us to eat the cuy the following day. We were received as to their home, and feasted on the highest quality of cuy. Thanks!
