Great place to try guinea pig

Definitely worth the visit. We tried the roast cuy. It was well presented and the sides and soups we had were also lovely. Luciano our host was very welcoming.

We heard about Kusikuy from our tour guide in MP, and also saw it was highly rated on TripAdvisor. We went to the restaurant in the morning while wandering the city. The owner, Luciano, opened the doors for us early (we arrived around 10:30 am, they open at noon) to show us the menu and describe the plates. We were... More

If you want to have a taste of what real Peruvian food should be, then this is the place. Don't fall for the places that have a guy begging you to come in. This out of the way place is a real treasure in Cusco. I shared a guinea-pig with friend and had the best ecperiance I have ever had... More

We've heard about Kusikuy from a friend who had travelled in Cusco in the past. We went to their old address, only to find out that they have moved to another site. We walked quite a distance to get to the new address but it was all worth it. The owner, Luciano, was nice and very accommodating. We tried alpaca... More

I ate an amazing Alpaca at Kusikuy, and my wife a great chicken. Luciano, the owner, was extremely nice with us. During the afternoon, we were passing by, my wife was not feeling good, and I knocked at the restaurant trying to get some help. He opened the restaurant when it was closed, he gave us a tea, and called... More

I came here after having a terrible experience at another dinner establishment in the Plaza de Armas area - my honest advice, they're basically all tourist traps and will say/do anything to convince you to go up to their restaurant. I learned about Kusikuy from Trip Advisor and definitely wanted to check it out to taste Cuy. I would say... More

We tried a selection of food here, including fried cuy, roasted lamb shanks, and grilled trout. It was the first time we tried cuy, so it tasted unfamiliar to us. The meat was tender though. We enjoyed the fish and lamb very much. Staff, especially owner Luciano, was also very helpful and we were made to feel welcome. The place... More

Great place to try Cuy! We highly recommend it. The staff were amazing, the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Thank you Luciano for a great night.
