Delicious authentic cuisine

We received recommendations for this restaurant from multiple people. It did not disappoint. We loved the octopus appetizer so much that we ordered a second. The potato bread was light and crusty at the same time. We ordered two meat dishes - lamb, pork, chicken. Everything was cooked to... read more

Great food, good service, decent prices. Restaurant is nicely decorated, bright pink walls. Good selection of local food, nicely presented. Service was great, very friendly staff. Highly recommend it.

I disliked the bartender, his attention, but aside from that, you have to make reservations and try to sit at a table, not at the bar.

Had an excellent dinner. Highlights were the 'Adobo de Cerdo' - excellent pork dish with gravy, and 'Carrillera'. Also had some peruvian red wine. Price was quite reasonable. Great ambiance. Make reservations as it gets quite crowded.

It was definitely the best restaurant we ate in Cusco. The food was delicious ,very well presented, a little expensive for Cusco and the service was sometimes slow . Overall a very good experience.

We were very pleased with Chicha. We walked by and it looked more high end, so we were surprised to find the prices were so reasonable. Our waiter (Luis) was great, very attentive and helpful. The menu has lots of traditional and western options to choose from, we had the Alpaca and the breaded chicken. Both were delicious. Their house... More

Visited Cusco for 2 nights with family last weekend. We decided to try this restaurant for a late lunch after a very busy morning. The service was very understanding and gentle in explaning the ingredients of most of the plates to all of us but to my aunt and mom especially! The quantity and quality of the plates were accordingly... More

I had such a hard time deciding on which restaurant to go to for our last night in Cusco - MAP cafe, Inka Grill, Pachypapa, or ChiCha (we'd gone to Cicciolina the prior night). I settled on ChiCha due to it's many vegetarian options and because MAP seemed a bit too formal for what I was in the mood for.... More

Gaston's restaurants are a safe bet or quality. We enjoyed this one for the cuy and cordero plates. Presentation was also good and our waiter very professional. We will go back

Given the type of trip that brought me to Cuzco this time around (4D/5N trekking to Salkantay), I wouldn't typically consider indulging in a restaurant the likes of "Chicha" on such a trip, not only out of concern for my own wardrobe appropriateness, but also budgetary limitations and general preference toward trying the local fare.. It did come highly recommended... More
