Tanta is better

Maybe my expectation was too high. I love everything else Gaston does. But Chicha is not nearly La Mar or Tanta (which is the cheap chain and is incredible).

We had lunch at this Gaston Acurio Restaurant. Meal was superb. Service was superb. If you go make sure you make a reservation otherwise you will not get a table.

We have eaten at several of gaston's restaurants and our two experiences at chica were average. The service on our first night was excellent and the food was very good but I feel that the portions are too small and the prices too high. We went back for valentines day lunch a few days later and the service was horrible.... More

Loved this restaurant! Recommended by the hotel we were staying prior to our epic trek with mountain lodges of Peru. Really high quality fish and a great wait staff plus a bonus of great decor make this a winner. I would highly suggest making point to eat at this wonderful gem.

Located above the Hotel El Truco (but not related to) and with a lovely plaza with fountain illuminated by lights of different colors at night just in front of it, it seemed to be a good idea to try this famous restaurant. I started asking for plain water and they offered me Aqua Panna bottle and it costed 20 soles... More

We really loved this place and ate here twice while we were in Cusco. The menu is interesting with both local and international dishes. Execution is refined. If you are not sure what to eat, ask the staff, who on both occasions were very helpful. The first evening I wanted something light and was recommended the trout with broad bean... More

I liked Chicha very much. The food was prepared very well and presented in good taste. Alejandro and Arnaldo were perfect waiters. I remember kindness shown by manager Jesus as well. All very pole peopke. I tried the salad and the stew. So good that you should try.

We came there in a group of 4 and we were all happy with our dishes. They offer a variety of plates, some more typical and some very "fusion", meaning that you probably haven't tasted a similar composition. Prices are on the higher side but I feel it is still a good price to value ratio.

I had an early dinner here, was empty but the hour was not a normal dinner time. Really enjoyed a dish of sweet corn pastry and tasty meat. Service was very good.

We had dinner there, without a reservation on a Saturday evening. The place was not too crowded. The service was good, although we had to wait a while between dishes. The presentation of the food was excellent. The menu had typical Peruvian dishes. A nice, clean, well run restaurant. But, they are quite expensive.
