Fabulous Restaurant in a great location and not expensive

We had lunch at this restaurant after being referred to by a local as a great place to eat local food. We were not disappointed.

We had early dinner at Chicha on Valentine's Day (without reservation!) and it was the best experience we had in Cusco. Everything was outstanding: the food was delicious, the service impeccable and the decor very original. You can't leave the place without trying the choclo ravioli and the chocolate soufflé.

We went to Chi cha after hearing great things about it from our tour guide and reading about it online. We were highly disappointed and thought that the food paled in comparison to two other excellent meals we had in Cusco- Ciccolina in particular. We had the ossobuco, corn ravioli, and potato soup. The dishes ranged from ok (ravioli) to... More

Good food. Good service as everything handled by Gaston Acurio. Food was very tasty and good quality. Meat was very tender, spices well combinated and choices for kids. Plaza Recocijo is a nice place to open a restaurant like this. Is a special location avoiding the crowdness of the Main Square buy close to it. I recommend this restaurant 100%.

I went to the restaurant with my fiancée twice. The location and setting are both very good. The service is not bad, the staff speaks English and is fairly well trained, the first time we had a young waiter, nice but was lacking reactivity, and second time we had a more senior waiter but he had too many tables to... We loved everything we ate here, two appetizers, an entree, and a dessert. All were phenomenal. The alpaca tartar blew our minds, as did the fried coca dessert. Simply some of the most unique and delicious flavors we've ever experienced and I've eaten at the French Laundry. The service was fairly on point however our waiter didn't speak the best... More

Gaston Acurio is internationally known restaurateur and this place lived up to the reputation. As I was ill at the time, could only appreciate the lovely chicken soup with dumplings. But will try again someday when I can eat more. Great ambiance and not as expensive as you might imagine.

While traveling in the Highlands of peru we were delighted to find a world class restaurant in the historic district of Cusco. A blend of Peruvian foods done in modern style, this was the best restaurant we found during our trip. Modern facility, good wine list, great service.

Chicha has a very cool vibe to it, coupled with fast, efficient service and delicious food. We shared orders of stuffed Tequenos and Rocoto Rellenos, both of which were very good, especially the Rocoto Rellenos. Not sure if we had diminished appetites due to the altitude (it was our first night in Cusco), but we were so full, we were... More
