Awesome food

I tried the red pepper with beef stuff and my mom ate quinoa soup. Even though we a bit of altitude sickness, the food taste great.

Went there on a recommendation and got truly dissapointed. Managers of this wannabe upscale restaurant should really reconsider the way they operate their bussines. The waiter recomended us two dishes - rosted pork and chifa. The pork was obviously roasted a few days ago and then slightly warmed up. And to my even greater surprise, so was the jacked potato... Nice decoration, great view of the city. I think my choice was not the best for me that day, by it was nicely cooked and tasted good. There were some other interesting choices in the menu, but most of them sounded a little to risky for my taste. Not sure if I would go again though. Service is excellent.

Six of us went to dinner at Chican based on the recommendation of locals. We had a table back toward the open kitchen and throughly enjoyed our dinner. The interior is modern and trendy; likewise the people watching is an attraction. The restaurant is well located with easy access. All of the food was good, but curiously it was the... More

We enjoyed excellent food at Chicha but the service was slower and less attentive than we experienced at other similar level restaurants in Peru. We waited 35 minutes after ordering for bread and drinks and dessert took a long time to arrive. This did not mar our enjoyment of the food which was original and fresh tasting. We were a... More

I had not too much time to have this meal and talked to the waiter about it. As I wanted local food he suggested one made of many local meats as llama, porks, etc served with some roots from this region and special sauces. The potato bread was very good too. I had my meal on time as I needed... More

A group of five of us had lunch here and loved it. The portion sizes are large so we ordered several plates and all shared them family style which I would recommend. Everyone loved being able to taste a little bit of everything from the menu. The staff was very friendly and attentive and overall we had a great experience... More

My husband wanted to go have dinner here after watching a special about the chef/owner on the Travel Channel. We made reservations 2 months in advance, which is a must. As you walk up to the building, restaurant is on the second floor, as many are here in Cusco, you wonder why you need a reservation. Well, once you try... More

We had a nice lunch with good soup, good appetizers. With a good flavours and presentation. My favourite dish was the octopus. I liked that a lot.
