First taste of lucuma.

I stopped by whilst walking and shopping in Cusco as I noticed the place had lucuma ice cream. I really wanted to try it as I knew it was a local fruit. I was served at the take away counter outside. The man who served me was friendly, he talked he talked me through all of the flavours available... read more

We dropped in after smelling wonderful coffee aromas...ended up with ice creams and cakes. So good we returned the next day!

Dolce Vita was on our way from our San Blas neighborhood to Plaza de Armas at 366 Santa Catalina Ancha. We enjoyed a cone or cup of delicious gelato each time we passed by. They have some very unique flavors (many different every day) to experiment with and the staff was very patient with our tortured indecision! As in the... More

This is still an ice cream place, but it's now called Dolce Vita. It was nice and cool inside and prettily decorated. Interestingly, it's in Peru, but the decor was unmistakably Egyptian, the ice cream was Italian and the music was American 1980s top 40 hits.
