Great menu, lovely sunny courtyard, service good and very attentive. We enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch. Not the cheapest in Cusco, but very good value.

Pachapapa was just a few minutes walk uphill from JW Mariott and close to the main square. The setting was casual and we chose the outdoor courtyard where we had the bird's eye view of the brick oven. The kids enjoyed the pizza and my highlight was the guinea pig. It was very tasty although I expected it to be... More

My colleague and I happened upon this courtyard restaurant while wandering Cusco. The courtyard offers a bit of a respite from the noise of the street, and while we were there, it also offered live music (harp). I had a calzone, which was not exactly what I expected. It was more cheesy than those I usually have in the USA.... More

Had a charming lunch here. Started with the smoked trout appetizer and fava bean and corn salad, both were delicious. Then the oven roasted cuy, also great. Drinks and ambience were nice and service was excellent. Luis was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. He really made us feel welcome and made our afternoon.

This is a lovely Peruvian restaurant located in the San Blas area. We ate here once by ourselves and then again when we met up with our trekking group. The main portion of the restaurant is courtyard that includes the majority of the seating as well as the outdoor wood fired ovens that are used for most of the cooking.... More

Pachapapa (a cute play on words) is recommended in several guide books -- and no wonder -- it's FABULOUS. From the homemade warm bread to the beautifully presented Ceviche to the Adobo to the lamb shank (we had them all), the food is great. Without any doubt some of the best food in Cusco and we've been here one week.... More

This restaurant was highly recommended to us as a safe place to eat - and the food was excellent. Loved the trout (prepared over a wood fire) and the roast lamb. The stuffed avocado was also really good. Loved the fresca tea so much I went home and replicated it! (Lemongrass, ginger, and mint). Make reservations if dining after 7... More

Cosy atmosphere in the lovely courtyard. I had dinner here and all the heaters were on so it was nice and warm. The stone oven is in the courtyard so you can see the chefs cook your meal. Had the cerviche and quinoa and vegetable soup with a mineral water. The portions are very generous and all up cost 50... More

My wife and I visited Peru for our honeymoon in August 2013. We spent most of our time in the Sacred Valley. We really loved all the Peruvian food we had, particularly the seasoned meat dishes, hearty soups, and various quinoa dishes. This restaurant was a recommendation from a casual acquaintance I met on my daily commute to work; we... More

We had a late lunch here in the sunshine on the patio. Enjoyed alpaca skewers, a stuffed avocado, and the cuy! I loved the atmosphere, the service (and English) was good, and the food was excellent. Best guinea pig I ate during my stay in Peru.
