Great Peruvian food

We visited late on our last night in Cusco. Easily the best meal we had in the city. The restaurant is an interior open air courtyard, so having a sweater in the winter (north American summer) is a good idea. We shared five meals including the Guinea Pig and it was a constant debate around our... read more

We had a fabulous meal here...Eating outside on a beautiful evening. Outstanding Peruvian food (including the guinea pig; call ahead) roasted in an old style clay oven in the courtyard. Staff was great, setting was even better...

My husband and I visited the restaurant earlier this afternoon, it was around 4pm, we had full intentions of having a few drinks, a couple of appetizers, and then continue on with dinner. We sat in the open air under an umbrella, and it was lovely... But there were 2 other tables in the restaurant at this time, and the... More

We received the recommendation for Pachapapa from a local. We took 2 cabs along the winding and climbing streets of Cusco and were so glad we decided to take up this recommendation. We went during the evening (be sure to make a reservation…it gets very busy) and it was cold outside. However, they turned on the warmers and we were... More

We were recommended to book there as it can be quite popular at night. As often when you get high expectations from reviews and the hype we were not impressed but it remains a good place for dinner with a nice little inner court. My wife took the trout that she rated 3,5/5. She was pleased with it but not... More

We came here on a recommendation from our hotelier. They were spot on!! Excellent and attentive service without being annoying or absent. We have the Aji de Gallina and the Steak and beans tacutacu. Both were excellent choices after starting with the stuffed rocoto. We had a local herbal tea which is naturally sweet and flavorful as well as the... More

The food was quite good, the location is great (opposite san blas church) and the waiter we met was really friendly. We sat outside and shared a table at lunch with two young trekkers, ended up exchanging information about cusco. Overall a good experience, I'd go back again.

This was our first restaurant in Cusco, where we had a nice lunch on the terrace The food is absolutely tasty, the service is excellent and you don't feel you are in such a heavily touristic place. Worth a visit

I have visited this restaurant three times already and everytime I've left with a very good feeling about it in general. The atmosphere is nice, all outdoor seating, they have a clay-oven, the service is very attentive, the food is excellent, so fresh, excellent Andean ingredients: quinoa, huacatay, golden berries, local farmer's cheese, all kinds of different potatoes, yucca, sweet...
