Unfortunately, this is the only place where I was able to eat the famed Guinea pig. On the other hand, it was just delicious. If you are looking to eat this delicacy in Cusco, and you are not planning on doing a side trip to Tipon (where there are lots of places offering Guinea pig), this is your best bet... More

This is a nice restaurant, not far from the main square. We ate in the courtyard, under the propane heaters. I had the special cui/guinea pig. It was very good, sort of a cross between duck and chicken.

One of the best restaurants in Cusco: starting with very good Pisco Sour, very good (and generous) dishes - rich stews, delicious alpaca herb brochettes, etc, all while seating outdoor in a charming patio beautifully decorated. Pachapapa offers multiple indoor seating as well if it gets chilly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pachapapa became our HQ during our stay... More

Stopped here for lunch after a morning at the ruins. On San Blas plaza - across from church. Had a great selection of pizza and other dishes. Portions are very large. Was not disappointed. Very reasonable food and fast service.

Highly rated restaurant with good service and tasty food. It looked clean enough so I ate the fresh lettuce salad but got sick the next morning. Their Alpaca skewers appetizer was fabulous. The cuy was good, not excellent. They should have crisped up the skin and that would have made all the difference.

What a great place! I loved that we were not accosted in the street to get in, I loved the inside yard with harp music and wood stove, I loved the quick and amiable service, and the food we had was great. We had the potato mix entrée, which was a delight. I do not eat meat and went for... More

I would probably have ranked even higher if there had been more vegetarian opticians. Lovely courtyard space with patio heaters to keep you warm on a cold Cusco evening. I shared a potato in huacaina sauce to start which was very tasty. One of our group had the quinoa salad which she wasn't overly impressed with but other staters went... More

We were tired of being accosted by people trying to sell us massages, pizza and maybe-alpaca products so we headed up the hill to the slightly quieter San Blas area, a 5 minute walk from the Plaza. We were seated outside in their courtyard under an umbrella and with patio heaters to keep us comfy as it was a rainy... More

The restaurant is in the San Blas district of Cusco, very convenient for lunch after touring. The courtyard area is charming; the service is excellent and welcoming. The wood-fired oven is expertly used; the pizza crust is thin and crispy. Tangy salad made with local grains and flavored with herbs was outstanding; the trout was just perfect.
