This is an interesting restaurant across the square from the Belmond Monasterio Hotel in Cusco

A varied menu of food that was quite good and well presented from starter through desserts. Service was outstanding and the restaurant ip was well staffed. My only real critique involved how long it took to receive our food after ordering. Some of my impatience is likely because it was already... read more

Maybe because there was a big group (which happens all the time apparently), but the food wasn't up to the European standards no taste, no flavours, and the deserts were terrible..... In fairness, the design and location are great, and so is the service Because of big groups, it can become very noisy very quickly (you can't even here the... More

The cafe is located in the museum garden, and is an attraction itself. Very good selection of wine (specially from Chile and Argentina). Be sure to ask for the lucuma entré. It's a local, yellow fruit with a very distinctive, delicious taste.

One of the best meals I had in South America. The chocolate truffle dessert is to die for. Have a Piso Sour as well.

My husband and I were in Cusco for our anniversary and had one of the best meals ever at MAP. Situated in a beautiful, old courtyard, the restaurant is literally a glass box inside it. It's a small restaurant which makes it even more intimate. And the restaurant is lit by large candles, which makes for a very romantic setting.... More

MAP is in a a glass walled area inside a museum in a square in Cusco. The food is an excellent mix of local and international dishes with fantastic presentation. They have a good wine and beer selection

We had dinner here as part of a tour and it was one of the best meals I have ever had! I had their house salad which seems very basic, but was presented beautifully and tasted exquisite. My 12 year old son had a soup with mushrooms and quail eggs and he couldn't get enough. I had a taste and... More

Overall food was good but ambiance terrible due a screaming child and parents or staff did nothing to appease the situation after repeated requests. Small and overpriced.

Dear Rick, Thanks for leave us your comment on MAP Café, sorry what happened about the cries of the child; even though our staff talked with parents and even offered the terrace so do not bother the rest of our clients; unfortunately we can not force them to leave the room. More
