This was right across from the Monasterio hotel in the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art. Very up to date and elegant. a small restaurant but still lively.

We had dinner here on Boxing Day. It is small restaurant , and so booking is necessary. Service was outstanding from the moment we walked in and despite being packed, it was flawless. Food is fusion Peruvian ,really well executed and a very good wine list to go along. if you have kids, there is an adjacent courtyard, which the... More

We stayed at the Hotel Nazarenas, directly across the street from the MAP and wanted a convenient place to eat on our last night in Cusco. We asked our concierge to confirm whether or not they had a prix fixe menu because we only wanted a light dinner. The restaurant confirmed that the prix fixe menus are only for special... More

This is one very unique restaurant, located in the courtyard of the pre Inca Museum at the Nazarene Plaza. We found the restaurant to be a fun place for dinner in a unique setting

Food is excellent. The amuse bouche of shrimp and mushroom was too salty, but the rest of the meal was perfect. Pisco sours and lemonades are delightfully refreshing. Desserts are decadent and beautifully presented. Appetizers were all solid. As for entrees, the alpaca is cooked to just the right temperature, the truffle pasta is rich and filling, and the braised... More

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday night. The restaurant had a prix fixed on this night. I don't know if this is standard of just on this particular occasion. The food and the service were absolutely exceptional. One of the best restaurants we have eaten in.

The MAP cafe is located inside the Museo de Arte Precolombino, which is a few minutes walk from the main square in Cusco. You must enter the main door to the museum but can bypass the entry fee by letting the receptionist know you are there to visit the restaurant only. The Cafe itself is located in a quadrangle within... More

We wandered into the MAP café on a quite night just before Christmas without a reservation. It was raining and perhaps this explained why we able to get a table in this normally busy restaurant. The appetizers and desserts at MAP are delicious morsels of culinary genius. Gorgeous presentation that cant be faulted. I recommend the Tiradito Pasionario... looks like... More

The Museum of Pre Columbian Art holds a rich and beautifully curated collection, that focuses on the artistry of pre-columbian objects. The museum's restaurant in its beautiful colonial courtyard has a similar sense of elegance and artistry in the way it presents the food. In serving the choclo soup, for example, the delicious creamy corn was poured into a bowl... More
