Craving home food we found Jacks tucked away behind the Plaza de Armas. The portion sizes were incredibly generous and the menu choices had us agonising over what to eat each time we visited (we kept bringing more people with us each time). The waiting staff were friendly and there was no rushing us to leave once we had finished... More

Wow. I was very happy with Jack's. Clean, great portion size, good food. Servers speak English (mostly). Service has the normal Cusco deficiencies but on a much lesser scale then just about every other place we ate. We came back 3 times in our 2 weeks in the city and we were happy each time.

I think I came back here three times during my stay at Cusco. The portions sizes are quite large, the coffee is good (by peruvian standards) and most importantly it's good food, like any cafe back home. Worth the spend, especially if you have been travelling for a while.

You can tell this place was started by an Aussie. The food is of a great standard and not overly priced for western food. Their chicken mushroom and avocado melt is the best I've ever had! They do good brekkie too and great nachos

Jack's Cafe is like an elevated Dennys in the US. It has great breakfasts and amazing desserts (Jack's Brownie is to die for). Everything else is pretty much anything you can find in the US or many other parts of the world. Burgers, Sandwiches, Hummus, Fries, etc. The flavor is good, but nothing different. There is always a long waiting... More

Went to Jack's at 7:30 for breakfast after a long overnight bus from La Paz. Already a few tables which gave the place a nice buzz and it was full by the time we left! I had the porridge and my boyfriend had muesli, both really large portions and super filling! A lovely change from hostel breakfast of stale bread... More

Our hotel was only a few blocks from Jack's Cafe and we noticed that regardless of the time of day, there was always a crowd outside of Jack's. When the crowd had subsided one afternoon around lunchtime (only about a 20 minute wait), we finally gave it a shot and were not disappointed. Jack's Cafe is not typical Peruvian cuisine.... More

We visited for s late breakfast after a four day hike! It was almost worth a four day wait. Delicious local coffee and a huge big breakfast served all day. With great wait staff who speak English and a wide variety menu, Jacks is a must do for breaky or lunch!

Tall, fluffy, delicious pancakes and hot tasty coffee! Jack's has the quickest service in Cusco. They are polite and have a menu full of affordable food to comfort you after a long hike.

This is not a spot offering typical Peruvian fare. However, it is a spot that you will keep coming back to for its amazing food served in huge portions, and priced very reasonably. The ginger, honey and lemon tea will rejuvenate you, whilst the sandwiches are delicious and massive. And the chicken soup will heal your broken bones from the... More
