Good mom-Peruvian food

This was a good place to go when you need a break from Peruvian food. Good coffee and tons of choices, breakfast and lunch/dinner, and large portions for reasonable prices. We went mid afternoon and there was no wait for a table. Meal for 2 ranges from 25-50 soles depending on orders.

So, we read in lonely planet that this restaurant is so busy that people queue outside to get a table. It's true! But 20 minutes later we were in and ordering a huge breakfast with huge coffee and freshly squeezed juice. The portions are large so go hungry, but definitely go there!!! A must visit venue in cusco.

If you have been on the road awhile and you are missing modern day flavors, take a pause here. We went her for a breakfast (great coffee), lunch and then dinner 2 days later. Service was excellent and staff friendly. Good food, a bit expensive but the quantity was more than enough. Try the Postales Malbec wine.

I had a mixed vanilla and chocolate milkshake and it was good. Made with real ice cream. Costs 8 soles I think.

We've been around cusco for a while, and being coffee fanatics, were desperate to find a good cup- we tried a few of the other "best coffee in town" restaurants, but as has been the case throughout our travels, we were disappointed! Jacks cafe undoubtedly makes the BEST coffee I've had in 4 months of traveling! The food portions are... More

Food is predominately western food and is of good quality. The portions are large and filling. Hamburgers, steak sandwiches, nachos etc. Not five star dining but if you are craving for a burger and chips it is not a bad place to dine at. Only hassle is you have to wait for a table. We had lunch at this cafe... More

Seems to be an institution is Cusco. We had our MOTD (Meal of the day) around 14:30 and had to line up for about ten minutes. Overall the place is cheerful and welcoming and for us a welcome "taste of home" after a few weeks of travelling. reminded me of a diner. Staff were great, friendly, engaging, and easy and... More

I was recommended this place by a woman I sat next to on my flight to Cusco. I told here I was going to be in Cusco for a few days and literally one of the first things she said was " you have to go to Jacks" . .. So I was eventually able to make it and it... More

After seeing the reviews I was excited for a proper breakfast. The reviews do not match quality of food that was put in front of us. There is plenty of places in cusco serving much better food than this place. We were left disappointed
