Had nice lunch here today with good traditional Peruvian food and live music. Three different styles of cuy..husband had the chicharron de cuy where the cuy is cut up and fried. Little feet and head on the plate. I had the rack of lamb or costilla de Cordero. With 1 order of ocopa and jar of fresh lemonade our bill... More

If you walk, like me, it's a bit of a hike to get to this restaurant from the centre of Arequipa. But, it came highly recommended, so I made the trip for a late lunch. They are famous for the chupe soup, which I ordered. There was no price on the menu, but I figured, how much can a soup... More

Just had lunch here with the family -- ordered the Rocoto Relleno which was delicious. It is frequented by locals, and a great spot to eat.

I went to this typical picanteria with a guest. This is more a restaurant than a popular picantería (where people just sit next to each other at the same large table). But the food is good. If you have the menu, it is only 15 soles (in La Tradición Arequipeña, a similar restaurant they charge you double that price). It... More

We took a taxi from the center of Arequipa to get to the restaurant after reading great reviews online. The food was good but nothing to rave about, the place is massive and it looked more like a factory than a restaurant, staff is nice and welcoming and the portions so huge, never seen so much in a plate before. It... More

The food was amazing. I can never get enough choclo con queso! It is very typical food done in an elegant way. I was also shocked at the amount of food for the price, very cheap for a large meal. The portions were huge, however, so next time I go I will be sharing a meal because there was no... More

Food was delicious and everything we ordered could have fed multiple people. The service was super efficient and friendly. Even though this is a tourist restaurant, the majority of the diners when we were there appeared to be locals

Wonderful upscale local eatery (open only for lunch) filled with locals. Huge menu with local fare. Hard to decide. All were good. Didn't order the camarones chufe but saw it and wished we had. Great service also. Nice and large seating areas, outdoor and in. Just a few blocks from the Mirador.
