Really dissapointed, the service was terrible, the cashier would help you only if she wants to, the server makes a list of all the creams you want on your sandwich and when they frinally bring you the sandwich after 20 minutes, you see an ONION sandwich with a few chicken strips, a burned and black onion that changed the flavor... Mamut has great sandwiches for relatively cheap. I was in Arequipa for 3 nights and I ate there twice, highly recommend it if you want something easy and delicious.

Delicious sandwich for a great price. I love salsa criolla (ognion and rocotto) and chicha morado drink. This place is located near to the main square, clean and fast service. If you want to taste a local sandwich for a reasonable price so Mamut is your place ;)

Great sandwiches for a reasonable price. You should try the lomo Fino with cheese and bacon, it's awesome. The service, though could be better. Still, if you're looking for a place to grab a sandwich, try Mamut

I should have gone to McDonalds next door - they probably would have had an equally satisfying breakfast for the same value, only with decent coffee. The sandwich was decent, though the coffee wasn't and the whole experience was just overpriced. So if you crave for a good sandwich, this is your place.

Wide selection of reasonably priced sandwiches and tasty juices. Great alternative to the well-known international fast food restaurants.

Nothing fancy inside but good fast service and a good selection of sandwhiches and toasted rolls. Staff serving were efficient and friendly. They took time to keep the floor clean. The kitchen staff were wearing masks, gloves and hair retaining hats so it was good to see food preparation hygiene. No complaints.

During my five month stay in Arequipa, I went to Mamut a few of times. The staff is never friendly, the food is alright in a time of need, there is always someone standing in the doorway shout-singing their lungs out for money. There are many better places to grab something quick to eat in the same area.

Mamut offers good sandwiches, normal size and Mamut(very big) size. Sandwiches are good and are prepared fast. Juices are good as well. I ate there a couple of times and the waiters are fast compare to other places. The place is not very big, so don't go when it's busy because it can be uncomfortable.. I went there around 9am....
