Cozy dinner

This is my second time in a Chicha restaurant, last time i was in the location of Cusco. As expected for a Gaston Acurio restaurant , the food and service is guaranteed, my goal was to taste the limpets, which i have never done before, and i was really satisfied, they were well cooked and tasty... read more

After a long day around town, we ended up here thanks to our tour guide's recommendations. Every single item we ordered was better than the last, I wish we could've tried more. The juices and drinks we ordered were so rich and flavor and my favorite thing might have been the complimentary purple corn bread. The wait staff was quick... More

My Husband and I went to Chicha. Everything that we ordered was incredible. Service was great as well. Its located in a beautiful old house from Santa Catalina Monastery.

Fabulous old building, terrific menu, great staff with excellent English. Same chef as Astrid e Gaston in Lima, which we also visited, but preferred Chicha. Went back the next day for afternoon tea in the more casual cafe next door (same block).

The food was really good, it was Peruvian food but with some variations so if you plan to eat typical food with not substituted ingredients this is not your place. The non alcoholic drinks are really nice and different i suggest to give it a try. If you love quinua you should try the "solterito de quinua" which is a... More

Had an excellent dinner at Chicha during our stay in Arequipa. The meal was prepared well and the portions were enormous. We ordered much more than we could eat since everything sounded so good! There was a short wait to be seated. Service was attentive and excellent. This was one of the more expensive meals we had in Peru, although... More

Odered the Alpaca; cooked to perfection. Have craft beer. The restaurant has an industrial feel, but is certainly fine dining, but not stuffy. We went in cargo pants and T-shirts and didn't feel out of place - similar to many of the nicer restaurants we went to in Peru. Jose, our server, spoke fluent English and is very on top... More

Service is excelent. Staff is knowledgeable and professional. Food is beatifully served. The young Peruvian sommelier really impressed me. She speaks with confidence on what she was trained in the Peruvian school but at the same time she is open to talk about wines from other countries she doesn't know yet. The food was really good. I will come to... More

Great food, service, surroundings. This is a must attend! The salad was fabulous, and main dish outstanding. Definitely one of my best meals in Peru.
