Our tour company recommended this to us and we enjoyed it so much the first time, we came back for dinner on another night. They have a good cocktail menu and the interior courtyard where we sat was charming. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our dishes - both trips!

The Peruvian cuisine has a great reputation and at the Chicha we were not dissapointed. Near of the main square in Arequipa and with decoration where you can see the kitchen made our night to be memorable.

I am only giving it a 3 star because my food was ok. I am big fan of Chicha Restaurant in Cuzco, so i had very high expectations. My family and i (party of 5) arrived on a Sunday around 4pm. They only had 4 other tables in the whole restaurant, so they were not even busy. they sat us... More

We enjoyed our dinner at Chicha, and had fun trying the different pisco drinks on the menu. The appetizer consisting of three small plates was the best, with each one perfectly seasoned without being too complicated. It's hard to go wrong here, whether ordering regional Arequipa dishes or traditional Peruvian ones, because the quality of the ingredients is the best.... More

A good restaurant in the middle of the old town in a very nice typical house from Arequipa. Very good food, we tried Rocoto Relleno, Cauche de Camarones and Chupe de Camarones. For dessert Creme Brûlée with Mazamorra Morada. Excellent !!

The full definition for gourmet Restaurant comes exact for this restaurant... the portions are tiny as if we were all on diet... the price is high, but the taste is very good. At least once...a try!

Was not as special as expected. Food (swordfish, cuy) was good, but not better than in other places in town. Also rather overpriced, compared to other restaurants around. However, when we left, we just saw the cooks (open kitchen, great!) finish other meals, which looked delicious, maybe we made a poor choices of meals?

I liked the food here a lot and the design of the place as well. I had a crayfih broth called chupe de camarones. It was exceptional! ut was the only proper restaurant i went to in Arequipa so i dont have any comparisons but overall i liked it alot.

Chicha reminds me of many restaurants in the states that use eye-popping decor to distract from the lack-luster food served. The ceviche was over powered with a mound of diced onions, and the vegetarian pizza nothing to note. The main course of pork was absent of flavor, and the chocolate cake was dry and disappointing. I ate at chicha in... More
