I loved the wine-cellar atmosphere of this cozy place, and the wood-fired pizza was the best I've had in Peru. Service was prompt and friendly.
Not only was the pizza great, the service was friendly and helpful (with random travel advice :) ). I even had 2 different flavours on one pizza (half-half) with no hassle at all. Definitely recommended.
Ate dinner at Los Lenos our first night in Peru. I loved the wood tables and rustic feel of the place. The wood-burning oven in the corner made the ambience even nicer. The waitress was so sweet... We loved that the garlic bread (a nice surprise starter) and pizza were baked in the little oven with the waitress watching over... More
What a great find when you are in the mood for pizza. The service was fast and attentive (the owner made my to-go pizza box with cardboard she cut out in front of me!). The pizza crust was crisp and the toppings were proportionally balanced. Overall the pizza was really tasty and certainly better than anything around arequipa.
Small restaurant away from the hustle and bustle. The manager was lovely and very smiley. We were served garlic bread whilst we waited for our pizza, it was nice and crispy but could have been more garlicky. The pizza is rectangular and the base is more like bread than a pizza base. Slightly too much cheese but the rest of... More
Such a perfect little place to have a really good square pizza, best toppings, great ambience, great music and definitely fair prices.
A quite place in an easy location. Walk in, the wood fired oven gets the match and a chat starts with the lady owner. Great lass, plenty of interesting conversation and really nice atmosphere. Oh yea, great pizza too and a good price. Recommended? Yea, give it a go, the best pizza we found in 2 months in Arequipa!
Leños is a tiny and cozy place, that ensures you to expend some good tome with a group of 2 or 3 friends. Maybe it's warm ambient (literally, because Leños has a a chimney next to the tables). Most a pub than a restaurant atmosphere Pizzas are quite good, nothing special, but they are ok by far if you aren't... More
Great pizza, lovely atmosphere, like a cave with a wood fired oven right next to the table. Quiet night so no waiting. Take a permanent pen and leave a message if you can find a space on the wall - messages go back almost 20 years!
Excited, after reading the recommendation for "Best Pizza in Peru" in Lonely Planet, we visited Los Lenos for dinner. It turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. Cosy place? Yes. Good service? Sure. But the actual pizza is not that much to write home about. A somewhat weird combination of ingredients on the menu. If you want your... More
