I enjoyed Fez but I think it had as much to do with the city and overall atmosphere as it did the food. Service is a bit slow but nice. The best surprise were the hand painted canvas bags for 80S...gorgeous!

We were looking forward to something different and we decided to give this restaurant a try. We ordered the falafal and the kofta. The falafals were tasteless dry balls, the kofta was ok. The pita breads were stale... The whole dish felt like a half assed job at presenting something middle eastern. We had to order hummus separately to try... More

Went to Fez for some Falafel and enjoyed beers during happy hour. We also got some of their tacitos (filled with cheese) and guacamole. It wasn't on the menu but we saw someone else eat it and asked what is was. Cost 12 soles and was a treat! Really enjoyed our meals and the loungy atmosphere.

The menu at Cafe Fez is limited but beautifully prepared. The falafel was especially good. There's an upstairs nook for people-watching. When we were there a street musician treated us to saxaphone jazz. Service was excellent. And be sure to check out the unique restroom -- really inventive small space design.

We popped in here for a quick lunch after ourflight from Lima and were not disappointed. This is place is casual and fun. We enjoyed piping hot coffees, Mediterranean salad and Turkish with chorizo which hit the spot nicely.

We ate dinner at Fez and were overall disappointed. Service was a bit slow. Food was only so-so. The savory crepes were not very good at all. Sandwiches were OK.

The lonely planet said you should come here if you want a good falafal, but we had way better falafals elsewhere! It was too dry, but the kofte was good. A small beer costs 7 soles! Too much if you ask me. You can eat better in Arequipa!

Hole in the wall. Tasty. Had crepe with chicken, spinach and Andean cheese. Also tried falafel, was good (although they wouldn't add hummus to the sandwich like I wanted). First we tried some Turkish place on the corner across the street but left after 2 bites (rice was like uncle bens=bad)
