I don't do a lot of negative reviews but while the setting was great. So many bottles of wine all stacked correctly. The place was empty. It was a Thursday night and there was only one waiter working. He was not busy as it was only us and then half way through another couple came. We went for the sushi... More

Great wine selection and wonderful food. Friendly professional staff and beautiful atmosphere. A little pricey but worth it.

This restaurant had been recommended to us by our hosts, and we were definitely glad we had taken their advice. The restaurant is more 'fine dining' than we were expecting, but the service is excellent and the restaurant is lovely. They seem to have a large selection of wines. (My husband doesn't drink, so I ordered a couple of glasses.)... More

Ideal setting, quiet, intimate, and classy. Wine selection has to be Cuenca's best. I'll never get the Sushi/Italian fusion of menus. The cook must have been in Kyoto for the past few years, even though his lineage is Italian. Sushi was complex yet delicate (salmon..incredible), tuna was right up there with the best of 'em. The latter perfectly scored and... More

I think overall this restaurant has good food! but they should really pick one type and stick to it! They have good sushi but the worse italian. What i mean is that you can ask for an italian dish but that is truly not even remotely how italians would cook.

This restaurant is world class. We spend most of our lives traveling and one of the biggest surprises we have had has been the quality of Ecuadorian dining. It ranks with the epicurean experience of France, Italy, Hong Kong, Montreal and most places within 100 miles of New Orleans.

Sitting on the south side of the Rio Tomebamba, this restaurant has a very good reputation. My friend and I had pork tenderloin, her husband had risotto, and my wife had lamb chops. Both my friend and I agreed that the pork was very flavorful but slightly tough. My wife characterized her lamb as okay and the risotto came in... More

This was my very first time to visit this restaurant. I loved their design by first sight, and that set my good mood for the night. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, in fact they went out of their rules by offering me a better choices of wine per glasses as I was alone for my dinner. they winery is... More

This is a wonderful restaurant with a varied menu and marvelous wine list. Wine is used as the decor and you feel you are dining in the wine cellar. You could walk right by during the day, but at dinner, the outside tables are set up and it presents a warm and inviting entrance. The tapas were wonderful, but be... More

It's a shame this place isn't more busy as it has a great riverside setting. Huge wine list with some real bargains on there, we tried a couple of appetizers that we're good but a bit ambitious - a Serrano ham dish that read well but turned up essentially like quesadilla with jam! Still, we look forward to giving it... More
