We experienced a great meal, the food was prepared perfectly and very well presented. This restaurant has a great eye for detail. Las Monjas is tastefully decorated and very clean. Our server was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The lunch special is a great value. This was our first visit and it certainly will not be our last.... More

The food here is good not great, what is great about this restaurant is the staff & service. Carlos, our waiter made us feel right at home and treated us as special guests.

Had a terrific lunch of soup, primavera salad, beef stew, green rice, and homemade avocado ice cream served with a freshly squeezed pineapple juice. Everything served is fresh and homemade. Delicious. One of the best meals and atmospheres in Cuenca. Carlos the waiter is top notch. Excellent service!

We tried the almuerzo and arrived late. The restaurant was listed as one of the good place in our guide (Le Petit Fute (French)). The place is actually very good and service is great. I was impressed of having a 8USD bill at the end for the quality and quantity of the food. Their homemade rose icecream for desert was... More

We noticed the sign in front which promised an original dining experience, and decided to return for dinner. When we arrived, we were greeted by our host Carlos, who quickly made us feel at home and seated us near a window. We looked over the menu and decided upon the special house salad, which included jicama, dates and a light... More

Before that, we were served some interesting dips as an appetizer, which showed us already the great skills of the lady cook! The dessert... More
