Highly recommend! Great food, service and wine selection. $50 check for two people for high quality meal, bottle of wine and service which I consider is pretty good price in comparison to Quito. Regardless of whether it is true argentine or not... Totally worth it!

Cuenca has proved to be one of the most beautiful destinations when you are travelling in Ecuador, but if you're in town, then you should go to La Esquina. Almost every meal is made for 2, but trust me when I tell you that the price is worth the meal. I even dare to say that you're going to ask... More

The set-up is nice, nice location. Menu is not really from Argentina, but is not bad. They have an approach, but is not the traditional arg fare. Go but not be wrong. Good wines but overpriced due to government duties. Do not go in Sundays.

I would like to start saying that each dish is for 2 or more people, the portions are huge, but it's worth each pound you've paid for the meal, I recommend the Cacharra de Pollo you can take it with a club beer...

First of all, Portions are huge! We ordered a chicken salad and a res de lomo milanesa! Both of us did not finish the plate cause its just too much! Quality is excellent, absolutely delicious! You will find cheaper places in Cuenca, but the Quality of the food is worth the high price!

We hadn't read anything on this place before going on. We were nicely surprised by sensational calamari (and I know my calamari!) followed by a big pan of steak and potatoes with a solid malbec. Just excellent service and yummy food in a nice atmosphere. A winner. The staff had also helped arrange a surprise for a couple when we... More

The menu lists a variety of American cocktails as two for one specials such as Old Fashioned, Martini, etc. We ordered Old Fashioneds. We were served some weird concoction in a tall glass with no fruit at all, this being Ecuador with every kind of fresh fruit you can imagine. It had whiskey and a lot of sugar but nothing... More

This place only has a few tables, the service is very good as well as the food. I felt, however, that overall it was a bit pricy...

The food is plenty for groups, we suggest to go with friends, the desserts are amazing. It is a small restaurant but with a nice atmosphere.
