The food is delicious, the prices are great, the staff is super friendly. Its well worth stopping in for lunch or dinner. Ive had a few different items on the menu and loved every one of them. The only thing that wasn't outstanding is their pesto sauce. Its a little flavorless but all the other items are delicious. You won't... More

Great Italian food. Pasta is very good. The bread that they provided had two delicious sauces one eggplant and the other roasted pepper this was a great way to start our meal. It is a very nice family restaurant.

We had heard from friends that Mangiare Benne had good pasta, so we decided to try it. The restaurant is small, but able to expand into the lobby of the hostal that houses it. The garlic toast was a bit dry and not very garlicky. The restaurant was crowded, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and their meals. The... More

The best Italian food I've eaten since I was at La Giostra in Florence Italy. Very simple restaurant, no fuss. Just great food. It's on the high end of the $$ scale. But a wonderful treat.

We went with friends who live in Cuenca who had recommended the restaurant. We were not disappointed at all and would concur that the service was indeed terrific. I had the Spaghetti a la Puttanesca and it was done perfectly (no problem to reduce the Anchovies). My wife ordered Pollo a la Navarra and was happy with it. One of... More

...the best--and he was right. Wow! Service, food and atmosphere were exceptional. Pasta was out of this world. Desserts were fabulous. If you're in Cuenca, do yourself a favor and eat here. You'll be glad you did.

Great Italian Restaurant in Cuenca. The staff were very professional and the food was fantastic. We typically split a meal when we go out and they were able to accommodate this request without hesitation. We will be back!

We love trying new restaurants in Cuenca, but we keep returning to Mangiare for the friendly, comfortable atmosphere and delicious Northern Italian food and wines. You're greeted and seated by the manager, the son of the family owned restaurant, who presents you with wine or beer choices. Their wine list is very good, as are their wines by the glass.... More

Probably the best Caprese salad I have ever had. I ordered it two nights in a row. Really good Italian food with menu that is extensive and easy to follow in Spanish or English. Wonderful sauces, perfectly cooked pasta, and a nice house wine that is not too expensive. A meal like this in the US would be double the... More

I have been going to the Mangiare for over a year and have never been disappointed in the food or service and they do everything to accommodate your wishes. I enjoyed very much the last time the Alfredo with their home made fettuccine with delicious quartered mushrooms cooked to perfection and a salad that was crisp and fresh. Their appetizer... More
