Dear God. The worst, most overpriced 'Chinese' I've ever had. Seemingly designed for the poor suckers at the local chain hotels. We ordered to take away from here because we were starving and could not think of anything else. When I got there to pick it up, I was told $58, but assumed I'd misheard. I'd not. So ok, I... More

The servers were attentive, quick, and kind. The appetizer sampler was delicious and had great flavor, which left me with high expectations for my main course. However, both my husband and I were disappointed by the small portions and lack of quality flavorful ingredients in our entrees. If you go stick to the appetizers and save your money for a... More

Horrible food. Way, way over priced and with arrogant wait staff to boot. Ex: The sweet/ sour chicken - a Chinese restaurant staple - was watery, tasteless and the chicken had the texture of cardboard. Generous portions - not here. Eat somewhere else. I have read reviews that were somewhat favorable for the HP in Quito. Obviously, there is no... More

I went for the Peking duck which wasn't available that day! Food average and overpriced for Quito. Rather stuffy atmosphere.

Very good asian flavors. Highly recommend it! Price-wise, its a little on the high end, yet its still affordable.

Who knew? This place was recommended to us by the concierge at the Swissotel where we were staying. We went based on his recommendation and becuase it was conveniently located across the street from the back entrance of our hotel. We had no expectations and were very pleasantly surprised. Everything was very fresh and well prepared - including the handmade... More

Just go there to eat the dusk...I ate the Peking duck, it was really well served in term of quantity (even though $ 20 looks a bit expensive), but the quality is questionable ! Anyway, I would recommend more the Dim sum bar for the ambiance...but not for the quality too ...

I went with a group of people and we ordered fewer items than there were people, but there was enough food for all of us. If you're craving Chinese food, I would recommend going to the Happy panda, because many other Quito Chinese restaurants are a big miss. I also really like the restaurant Zao in Quito.

This is a tough restaurant to rate. The food served here is decent, but it's certainly not what I was expecting. For example, they have General Tso's Chicken on the menu, but it bears no resemblance to any General Tso's Chicken I've ever had in the US or Asia. It's tasty enough, but it's more like a (non-spicy) cashew chicken... More
