I went for the Peking duck which wasn't available that day! Food average and overpriced for Quito. Rather stuffy atmosphere.

Very good asian flavors. Highly recommend it! Price-wise, its a little on the high end, yet its still affordable.

Who knew? This place was recommended to us by the concierge at the Swissotel where we were staying. We went based on his recommendation and becuase it was conveniently located across the street from the back entrance of our hotel. We had no expectations and were very pleasantly surprised. Everything was very fresh and well prepared - including the handmade... More

Just go there to eat the dusk...I ate the Peking duck, it was really well served in term of quantity (even though $ 20 looks a bit expensive), but the quality is questionable ! Anyway, I would recommend more the Dim sum bar for the ambiance...but not for the quality too ...

I went with a group of people and we ordered fewer items than there were people, but there was enough food for all of us. If you're craving Chinese food, I would recommend going to the Happy panda, because many other Quito Chinese restaurants are a big miss. I also really like the restaurant Zao in Quito.

This is a tough restaurant to rate. The food served here is decent, but it's certainly not what I was expecting. For example, they have General Tso's Chicken on the menu, but it bears no resemblance to any General Tso's Chicken I've ever had in the US or Asia. It's tasty enough, but it's more like a (non-spicy) cashew chicken... More

We wanted to go to a nice restaurant early (5 pm), and Happy Panda was one of the only ones open. We were the only diners and they gave us outstanding service and excellent food. The atmosphere is sophisticated and comfortable. It was rainy and one of the waiters stood out in the rain for a long time trying to... More

Waited forever for the menus... waited forever for them to take our order... People seated 30 minutes after us got their food before us, got the receipt before us... Very disappointed

This place is not for authentic Chinese food crowd, but it gets their share of customers because of excellent location, nicer venue among Chinese restaurants and decent food. I personally don't go much, though I do get invited here once in a while and it's not a good value if you know what Quito has to offer, but do go... More
