I came with high expectations but they managed to impress me... I had the 7 course chef's menu, each course was even better. Also if you are a wine lover they offer great options. Nice pairing. My girlfriend had a "canned tuna", delightful... I fully recommend Zazu.

We went to Zazu on our last night in Quito. It lived up to all expectations. The food was presented beautifully and all tasted superb. We decided to have one 4 course and one 7 course tasting menu. This was a great suggestion by other reviewers as it definitely allowed us both to try almost all of the dishes. We... More

We were travelling with our adult son and our concierge recommended Zazu. It exceeded our expectations. We were not dressed for such a nice restaurant but they welcomed us anyway. The food was amazing and the ambiance lovely. I loved the very long stemmed roses as you enter the restaurant. You might be surprised that a restaurant of this quality... More

We were a group of 15 so I understand the complexity of serving so many people. However the service was very slow. It took 3 hours for dinner. The food is very good. There are several interesting dishes not seen at other restaurants. Price around $50 per person

Service and the overall experience were first class. I just didn't think that the food was up to par with eh price and the overall setting. I had the pork belly (forgot the name of the dish). It was on the dry side, but good, not great. My wife's seafood dish was also good. If you are going to judge... More

We have travelled many places in the world, and consider ourselves foodies. This rivals Le Bernadin in NYC for innovative fish preparations . We had the 4 course and 7 course menus, and found the fish better than the meat courses, but we were thrilled with this restaurant and the outstanding service. Very reasonable price for the quality ($150 for... More

A group of 7 friends showed up without reservations on a busy Saturday night after a flight from Peru...the food was outstanding and worth the journey, but it was surpassed by the gracious hospitality of the restaurant staff in welcoming us, as unkempt and disheveled from our travels as we were...throughout the meal there was not the slightest off note... My husband and I had a delicious dinner at Zazu last night. We couldn't decide on specific menu items so we decided on two tasting menus: one 7 course and one 4 course that combined, gave us a sampling of almost everything on the menu. We switched plates at every course so we could each try everything. Not every selection... More
