Best food in quito

This is definitely the best food in quito. Not cheap, but totally worth the price. Dishes are special, very well cooked and thought. The chef combines Ecuadorian ingredients and dishes with international techniques.

This restaurant is Chinese and although not very fancy, the food is pretty good. I had Won Tons the best I ever had with plum sauce land a soup served in a huge bowl with shrimp, chicken, pork, Chinese noodles and an excellent broth. This is a family place so children of owners are there. I had a very enjoyable... More

This elegant Restaurant is in a good neighborhood, with very good service. Besides the menu a la carte, they offer a degustacion of 4 or 7 courses, with small but very special portions! Price is not absurd but the place is quiet.

Don't be foolled! For 60 USD per person plus wine, the culinary taste of this restaurant does not in anyway meet its value expectation. New Years's Eve and the atmosphere was morbit, quite and not one single festive indication. The food was what one would get in an average bistro in NYC, nothing more to justify its cost.

Every course was incredible and combined local dishes with a modern flair. From the appetizers to the desserts, we were so happy with our meal we tried to go back for a second time. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it happen but I can't highly recommend this restaurant enough.

Zazu is a gourmet restaurant located in Quito's financial center, close to many bank and multinational company headquarters, so it is a pretty popular place for business meetings during the week. You must be aware of this because unless you get there really early, you will need a reservation and service is usually slow. You will find all types of... More

We followed the reviews and decided to have a nice dinner in a good restaurant. What a mistake! We chose the 7 step Chef menu. None of the dishes worth the 60 dollars paid for it, Tacky presentations, pretensious menu, everything far too salty. And we re still sick just to remember the disgusting maracuya sauce in one of the... More

So expensive and the food was awful. I didn't like it at all, I've eaten in so many places for so much less and they were a hundred times better. If u come here don't order the fish, any kind of fish, it tasted horrible. At least the service was good...
