Amazing, amazing, amazing is all I have to say about this great place. Amazing atmosphere, great food (try the stone crab ceviche!), and great drinks! Would highly recommend to anyone who visits Quito.

I went to Zazu as part of a large group and we were offered to try a tasting menu. Overall the food was delicious and had a bit of a fusion feel to it. While I generally prefer authentic, hole in the wall meals when visiting other countries, Zazu was an amazing complement to the places I tried while in... More

We were at this restaurant following a trip to Galapagos. We had the 7 course tasting menu which was one of the best meals that we have had. From beautiful presentation to the fresh variety of foods this was a wonderful meal. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Good wine selection.

Every plate was accompanied by a wave of "mmmm" and "ahhhh" and "oh my, this is the best _____ I've ever had". Definitely one of the nicest and most enjoyable places I've ever eaten! The owner's passion for food and quality was contagious and he definitely made sure everybody in his restaurant was having a great time. What are you... More

The best food I had while visiting Quito. I tried the five course meal. The crab was especially good. The service was great: prompt and courteous. Also, The atmosphere was also amazing. Great for a both large groups or intimate dinners.

We visited Zazu as part of a large group, and enjoyed an excellent tasting menu. Or, at least, I think we did, because we also enjoyed some excellent wine and assorted drinks that makes my memory of the food a little bit fuzzy. Overall, excellent service, food, and ambiance. If it was I was rich and lived in Quito I... More

I'm reviewing this restaurant after my second visit to Zazu with a large group. It is by far the best meal that I've had in Quito -- great care and attention is paid to the meals and to the dining experience in general. Our group had a six-course tasting menu, the highlight of which (it was a bit hard to... More

The best meal I've had in Quito has been in this restaurant. I've eaten here twice and each time has been fantastic. The first time (over a year ago) we ordered a la carte and we were treated to some of the best ceviche I've had anywhere. This time around, we had a 5 course tasting. The stone crab ceviche... More

My friend and I went here after reading the reviews, and we're not disappointed! We had fantastic service and absolutely amazing food. Servers and food service were prompt and friendly. And as a benefit for the non-Spanish speakers, they have menus in English and spanish(my friend and I got one of each to practice). Prices were cheaper than any comparable... More

My meal at Zazu was definitely the best meal I've had in Quito. I was met with delicious food, a wonderful environment, and great staff. For the meal, I had a 6-course tasting menu which featured a bite-sized taquito, a zesty snow crab ceviche, a tuna, swordfish over rich mashed potato, a risotto dish, and topped off with a very...
