A nice touch is the complimentary collection and delivery back to your hotel by the restaurant driver! The building is spectacular old world overlooking one of Quito's most picturesque plazas. The room heavily curtained (red) and tables formally set with black tied waiters in attendance - all very formal and contrasted by tourists in hoodies and jeans. The food tries... More

The food was delicious from start to finish, including perfectly cooked beef and cooked vegetables. Great wine list; don't miss the malamado desert wine. The service was impeccable. They picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. The restaurant overlooks a beautiful plaza.

Four of us had a dinner at the Theatrum. My prawns were excellent, and my wife's Sea Bass were delicious. The service was excellent, and the ambience was elegant and relaxed.

This was certainly one of the best food choices we had on our trip through Ecuador. We were with a group of 100 (!) and they served buffet style. The most memorable part was the delicious soup, soup being my most favorite high altitude dish. Celebrity Cruises had hired an opera singer to entertain us during the meal. Very nice... More

Even though it has 4.5 ☆ by Trip Advisor I'm given THE AT RIM a 5. We enjoyed today an excellent lunch buffet and a soprano with much delightful voice. Everything was excellent and their Shrimp Ceviche out of this workd. Service also excellent and friendly staff. Highly recommended whoever visits the Old City area. By the way it shows... More

The atmosphere has a strong contrast between the heavy red curtains black chairs and red walls. The service was efficient and nice, the food was intended to be modern and stylish but they still have some work to be done. But i think it was a good experience.

As the suggestion of our travel agent, 4 of us dined at Theatrum. We were picked up at our hotel and driven to the restaurant. Fabulous interior, amazing staff and delicious food! An unexpected gourmet treat! After dinner, a driver returned us to our hotel. We're still talking about the great time we had!

Definitely the best meal we had in Quito but also the priciest. Totally worth it if you wish to spoil yourself, still cheap by North American standards plus they will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. Here you will get the highest quality meal in a sumptuous & unique decor. I opted for the taster's menu... More

As part of our tour, we had the pleasure of eating lunch here. They offered a buffet in a beautiful part of what I believe is an opera house. The buffet selection was quite extensive offering delicious Ecuadorian food. The ceviche, with popcorn or fried plantains, was delicious. The other main dishes of fish, chicken and pork (I don't know... More

We had a superb lunch buffet of Ecuadoran food, and I had a little taste of everything---which was a ton of food. Soup to dessert: all delicious. Then an opera singer performed for all of us, which was great fun.
