Firstly it was very difficult to find the restaurant. Tucked away in old town. Very quiet. Ambience was Good. Took a bit longer than expected for the main food. Service was slow. Though food was great. So was the presentation. Would recommend to all.

We had dinner at this restaurant, it is not what we expected according to the many positive reviews. Maybe because we were the only guests, but the vegetarian food was also mediocre. Anyway, the ladies where very friendly and there is a nice shop where you can buy good quality crafts, organic coffee etc.

Off the beaten tract in Old Quito. Interesting decor with home made decorations. Local beers. Wine good. Service was not fast but one felt that this was due to the food being freshly prepared. Delicious mix of flavours using locally sourced produce with something for our meat and non meat eating family members. Enjoyed trying vegetarian versions of Ecuadorian classics... More

La Cuchara de San Marcos is in a little cul de sac off the beaten path in Historic Quito. However, it's worth finding! It was quiet and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff was helpful and accommodating. Don't miss it!

This restaurant is located in historical Quito but it took some time for our taxi driver to locate it. We are happy we persevered. The restaurant is situated at the very end of Junin street, the street takes a turn to the right and thereafter ends in a dead end. It is in this dead end, on your right that... More

The restaurant is located in a charming neighborhood a walkable distance from the main Plaza in old Quito. The atmosphere was lovely, but the vegetarían lunch entree I had was amazingly bland and one of the most expensive during my travels in Quito. I actually left the place hungry. I was charged $1.50 for a wine glass full of water... More
