Nice Coffee Shop

This one is located directly behind Holiday Inn Express, on Reina Victoria. Good coffee & delicious sweets, probably the best I have had in Ecuador. A vast assortment of both sweets & coffee drinks, hot & cold. Very nice place, able to sit & enjoy a visit with friends. Staff very pleasant. Will... read more

This review is about the shop in the Quito Hilton Colon area. A hidden and quiet spot in a busy and touristy side of town. Coffee and food are very good if you are looking to enjoy a morning snack, a quick lunch or an afternoon break. Kindly served and prices just right.

While I haven't been overly impressed with the coffee or food here, as suggested by several, in a country generally satisfied with instant coffee, Sweet and Coffee is indeed somewhat of an oasis. Both the coffees and thine sweets that I have tried here have been acceptable, and the atmosphere while lacking the charm of a mom and pop coffee... More

My friends from Quito brought me here to taste the best coffee in Quito. It was wonderful. But you must also try their bakery items. The corn and cheese tamale was so moist and very cheesy. And the cake with dulce de leche glaze had the most wonderful orange flavor. After all, isn't coffee why you came to Ecuador?

Delicious desserts and perfect cappuccinos is what we found here at Sweet & Coffee in the Mariscal district. Service is fast and they bring the order at your table, no need to wait at the counter. There is free wi-fi inside and an outdoor seating area. A soft music background and confortable chairs add to the already good experience. The... More

We were told to try this as it was like Starbucks. Close, but not quite. The Grande coffee is just in a larger cup. It also leaves a little to be desired in the taste department. The desserts, though, are excellent. Price wise, it is less than Starbucks. We had a grande latte, a grande Americano, a slice of spinach... More

We love to go here to chill out and enjoy hot drinks and the newest sweetie. Although the older recipes don´t lose their charm either! usually a very comfortable corner away from the rest of a food court and less noise.

In this land I love that is so accustomed to drinking instant coffee this place is an OASIS! I also buy their coffees in the market. The coffees are properly roasted, handled and prepared to satisfy the most discriminating coffee palate. Desserts like there coconut flan (queso de coco) are excellent. They even make nice savory quiches.

they have probably the BEST coffee in Quito, but one disadvantage is that they are located mainly in malls (food courts) and there is no cosy coffee (Café) atmosphere as you have to sit with all the patrons at the tables of the food court ... besides it is self service ....

We have been to Sweet and Coffee once so far and our first impression was that they had transported a coffee shop from the US. Whether that is a good thing depends on what you like. We bought a red velvet cupcake, a savory filled pastry, a mocachino and a milk shake. The cupcake was a good basic cupcake but... More
