Superb seafood in great atmosphere

When confronted by a man strongly resembling a cross between Ben Turpin and Ron Jeremy who is standing in the middle of a busy intersection bellowing through a homemade megaphone, you should do one of two things; either back away quietly without making eye-contact or willingly, if a little... read more

Great choice of cebiviche (or cebiche, both are accepted): shrimps, fish, squid or shells. This is the classic place to eat or (even better) to order typical Ecuadorian seafood. I personally like the shrimp ceviche, but all are good. The restaurant, which has now ten outlets, has also grown its menu, that now includes large dishes such as "arroz marinero"... More

The seafood is super delicious. This place is packed at lunch time and is open 24 hours. We went for lunch. You order and pay then sit down and wait for the food to arrive. Try the grilled clams, unique, and super delicious. All the ceviches we tried were made with fresh seafood. Walk to the Santa Barbara church in... More

We ate at this restaurant after our city tour since our guide recommended it as the best seafood in Quito. We were not disappointed with the food however the place itself is not very nice. As a tourist I would have paid a premium to have a better view or ambience. Try the rice with seafood. Cebiches are not that... More

Most of the times I hear of people getting sick on this place, ceviche runs at 9bucks or something and it's really bad quality compared to a normal coast restaurant that will charge 8 but give you something real not prefab...food is super greasy and not well done. To foreigners I do not recommend this place way better options!

It is not fancy. Its a family style restaurant. You you place your order at the counter, then you are seated and they bring it to you at your table. It was fresh and very tasty. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very patient with us trying to figure out the menu. It is popular with people we... More

I love this place's food! The cebiches are amazing (maybe too much thick onion for my taste, but easy to take out ;P) But the quality of food is incredible, and it comes a lot. The empanadas are the best!! And th rice and other places are really good too, but I always come for the cebiche (the marinero is... More

The ceviche is one of my favorite all time meals, specifically shrimp. I was dissapointed that this place was talked up to being one of the best, granted it could have been the location, I ate at the Mall in el Bosque at the food court. The flavor was so so, the patacones (green plantain chips) was very good, I... More

It looks like a fast food dinner but it is not. The seafood is absolutely fresh, delicious and the quality surprisingly high. And relatively cheap as well. Go for it without thinking twice.

Itis a chain of seafood restaurant in Ecuador where you can get for a reasonable price a really good cebiche in the Ecuadorian way. Shrimps, crabs, shells, fish, squid are prepared in a delicious way. The food is always fresh, the dish is really goos in quantity and quality. You can try everyday a different one without boring. The restaurants... More
