As a missionary and global traveler this is one of the best steaks I've had the opportunity to try. Fantastic service and good value. If traveling to Quito, this is a must stop. By the way, ask for the queso y pan, terrific appetizer.

I' ve been going here since I was a kid. The ambient always reminds me of weekends visiting my grandparents house. The food has never changed, perfect as always, the Solomillo is my favourite dish, but I recommend everything. The prices are very reasonable, and they are worth every bite you take. So if you live here, or visiting Quito... More

It's been there forever, have been going there since i was a kid. No matter when you go, the solomillo is still great. The remodel made it lose some of its homey charm, but as long as the solomillo is still great I'll keep showing up.

Outstanding service and great food. Ordered the house special, the solomillo. It is a generous portion of beef tenderloin, cooked to perfection as ordered. Paired it with a good Chilean merlot. Everything reasonably priced. Best meal we had during our week-long stay in Quito.

We found this restaurant by accident -- just walking down the street. It was a Monday about 7PM and we were the only people in the place. The proprietor is English speaking. Limited menu---mostly steak and chicken. I opted for the solomillo --the house special. Very excellent steak---potatoes with a delicate cheese sauce, great salad. Partner had the steak in... More

Very friendly service and good food. A family type atmosphere. We tried the main dish of the house, which is a nice tenderloin with potatoes, rice and salad. Very reasonable pricing.

A quirky steakhouse with great service and great steaks. The decor is dated, the chairs a bit uncomfortable but the service and food make up for it. The menu is limited, my wife ordered the chicken but they didn't have any, and they recommended the steak - solomillo. After all it is a steakhouse! It was one of the best... More

Not too expensive, particularly clean and well-presented. The food was very good, particularly the meat. The waiters were very friendly.

Ate here twice, once with my wife and once on my own. Both times we had steak - there really is little else worthwhile on the menu. It was ok but they really have to do something about making the meal a better experience. The first time we were the only guests ( it was a Saturday evening, 8 pm... More
