We passed this place while walking to Mariscal one afternoon and stopped in to view the menu. Although I found the menu choices to be somewhat limited, we thought that this would make a nice change from local Ecuadorian food. We both enjoy Lebanese food and decided to return on another evening for dinner. Twice we went back and the... More

Baalbek offers delicious Lebanese cuisine, good service, and a pleasant atmosphere. My mother's family is Lebanese, and I know their food well. I dined there once with my aunt and uncle (whose father was Lebanese, and we were all very impressed. The food is authentic and well spiced (a welcome relief in Ecuador, where the food can be pretty bland,... More

We went here for dinner with 2 friends and were really excited when we read the menu as we had been craving something other than an almuerzo type meal. The food was delicious but we thought it was very overpriced. We are a little sick of paying 1st world prices in a 2nd or 3rd world counrty. The restuarant itself... More

We really enjoyed the food and the service. The owners are there and it really makes a difference. Food was outstanding, with original flavors, well presented. The only negative points during our stay: -There was a belly dancer that night. She danced really well, however the quality of the sound was cheap. They should get better speakers and sound system.... More

The restaurant has awesome decor and yummy and flavorful food. I tried the tabouli, babaganush, falafel, quippes, sanduche de pollo and the baklawa and it was all delicious. I highly recommend!

This family owned and operated restaurant is always good. Nice atmosphere, good food and friendly service makes this place a must go to when you want Lebanese food. Try their Kafta!

A great place to enjoy Lebanese food. The owner is an older gentleman who is just adorable! He helps you order and explains all about the food. You will always want to go back there for more :)

I went to Baalbek restaurant with a friend. I am vegetarian. The owner himself assisted me in choosing the right food. The variety was astonishing, the service impeccable, the food delicious in every bite! A number of Middle Eastern sweets were nicely presented. The baklava was tremendous! A cup of Turkish coffee to follow!! It was simply a great experience!

This is an attractive small restaurant with very good food. Depending on your point of view, the owner is attentive and hospitable or something akin to a car salesman. Resist the owner's attempts to get you to order everything on the menu. Order what you think you can eat. The dishes don't take long to prepare so you can always... More
