So happy to find good Lebanese food in Quito!

Very nice atmosphere, lovely furnishings, lighting and music. Service also very good. Food is very good, Lot's to choose from however, portions are a tad small and prices are a tad high-hence the 4 instead of 5 star rating. I suppose we should just be thrilled tho that this restaurant even... read more

It was my first time trying Lebanese food so cannot compare it with other restaurants, but we all had a highly enjoyable experience. We ordered a mezze, which was mostly small plates with different tasty mixtures. Our waitress was friendly and spoke English.

We love Lebanese food, and this restaurant is among the best. Highly recommended!! It was so good we dined here twice during our stay in Quito. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The owner came by to make sure we were happy with the food both times we were there. We recommend the Mezza Variety plate, which has a... More

There's no doubt about it, this is the best Lebanese cuisine in Ecuador! Not only you will love everything on the menu but the attention is extraordinary... I go here every chance I get and I always come out completely satisfied and happy. Highly recommended!!!

My wife and I both got very sick for a week after eating here! We are definitely not going back and recommending all our friends to avoid this place! Besides this very unpleasant surprise, while the restaurant decor and service were pleasant, the food was not authentic. We had the Mezze 1 variety dish. The kebbes and fallafel didn't taste... Baalbek is not only a restaurant. It's a great place to have a culinary experience. If you're not familiar with Lebanese food, the staff will give you a brief introduction and will offer great suggestions (btw their baalbek lemonade is amazing) The only thing that wasn't as great as they suggested were the deserts.

This is a gem. We were there as tourists, but most of the diners were smart young Quito locals. This is an award-winning and friendly family run Lebanese restaurant, and the food very reasonably priced. Lebanese food, so enjoy the slow - you're there for the evening, not a pit-stop dash. Dress code: smart casual. And we happened to hit... More

I have only tried a few Lebanese dishes in my life, and I cannot speak from an ethical know-how perspective, but the food tonight was exceptional and a nice visual presentation. I've eaten at dozens of restaurants in Quito over the course of more than a decade. The service (waiter, and all 'front-of-the-house' employees) was quite unusual for this city:... More

Having had a decent takeaway from this place, i finally had a sit down meal and kind of wished i hadn't. Service was totally lacking and they had some old guy that smelt a bit wandering around looking a little lost. Occasionally he would have a fit or stroke or something and get very animated but on the second time... More
