It is not the best neighborhood in town and do not let you the old decoration fool you, because behind doors a great meal is cooking, we were 9 family members and everybody love their dishes. The rabbit was splendid.

A Quito classic. Decades in the same site. It is obvious they care very much about the materials and inputs of the food they buy in the kitchen. You will find a very traditional French and international menu, well done, with excellent Quality. Always a very good choice. You will leave never disappointed

Rincon de Francia is a traditional restaurant and without any doubt one of the best in Quito. They prepare the best "Escargots" in Quito and the Sea-bass (Corvina) is the best I have ever eaten. Try "Corvina flambeado al Pernod", "Corvina en salsa de Champagne" or "Corvina con Almendras". Another speciality is their "Crepe Suzette" flambeado al Cointreau" for desert.... More

This places is a very old restaurant in Quito. A lot of the so-called "important" people in the city go have their meetings and meals there. The food is very good. However, the menu is not very varied or flexible, and it's also on the pricier side. We spent $120 on dinner for two, and it wasn't anything out of... More

It has been about 15 years that I had not been at the Rincon de Francia, and nothing has changed, the food is great, the service still excellent! Warm Tortilla Espanola for starters and the fish just great!

We had 15 American tourists go to dinner here, and they handled separate checks with aplomb. The service was very attentive and they did not seem confused by all of our separate and varied requests. Dinner (I had sea bass in champagne sauce) was excellent, according to everyone present, with the presentation lovely. Desserts (I tasted two) were both presented... More

Once again I went to Rincon de Francia for my birthday, and the food, the wine, and the atmosphere were great! I love their seafood, as much as their desserts. Rincón de Francia is definitely worth a visit.

As soon as you walk in order a bull shot, homemade and unique. Try the cesos (brains) if you are up to it, one of the best in the world. Also, pangora (Ecuadorian Stone Crabs) tastier than the South Florida equivalent and fresh as can be even though Quito is at 9000 + feet. Last but not least try crepes... More

This place is just 500 meters from the Mecure Alameda on Rio Amazonas, it's staff are very helpful and the service was just great. Food and wine were awesome as well.
