Best Resturant we tried in Quito

We tried several restaurants in Quito in the fine dinning space. We found this one to be the best by far but it's not cheap (around $70 a person) and not great. The alvacodo may be the best I've ever had. The seafood is good but not the best. The beef is good, but again, not the best. Wine... read more

We were very excited about dining at this restaurant after reading all the fantastic tripadvisor reviews. But may be the expectation was too high, and therefore we were disappointed? If we had gone in without any expectation, we might have enjoyed it more? Who knows. We got there at open time (7pm - see, excited, couldn't wait to try it),... More

This is one of the best restaurants in Quito!! I have been coming here since I was a kid.. I do not live in Ecuador now but when I go back I always try to have a nice and exquisite dinner at Rincon de Francia. For over 30 years this family owned restaurant remains as one of the top places... More

This is a Quito classic. While decor is not very nice, food and service are remarkable. Try their Corvina al Pernod, beautiful. Always good, always a good choice

One of the true and tried places to enjoy french but also exquisit ecuadorian seafood. Consistently good and outstanding service. A favorite of local old patrician families and business men alike.

Superb food. I had the salmon with almods and it was simply devine. Not overly expensive either, Was 70$ for mains and drinks for 2. Really nice atmosphere with english speaking waiter and live music which added to the ambiance and did not over power at all. Only issue I had was they didn't have a drinks menu which I... More

A friend of ours in New York who grew up in Quito recommended this restaurant. We are so happy he did. The meal was fabulous and the service amazing. The menu is filled with many French classics with a touch of local flavor added in. We also loved that we were dining among mostly locals, something I love whenever traveling.... More

Staying at the Hilton I was looking for something close and highly recommended on Tripadvisor and we weren't let down. Although we had some trouble communicating initially it wasn't long and we had an English speaking waiter and English menu. The waiter was very helpful with our selections and great with the drinks. All the meals were excellent and so... More

Rincon de Francia was recommended by locals and was a great experience. Great food and a refreshing change from fried plantains
