One of the true and tried places to enjoy french but also exquisit ecuadorian seafood. Consistently good and outstanding service. A favorite of local old patrician families and business men alike.

Superb food. I had the salmon with almods and it was simply devine. Not overly expensive either, Was 70$ for mains and drinks for 2. Really nice atmosphere with english speaking waiter and live music which added to the ambiance and did not over power at all. Only issue I had was they didn't have a drinks menu which I... More

A friend of ours in New York who grew up in Quito recommended this restaurant. We are so happy he did. The meal was fabulous and the service amazing. The menu is filled with many French classics with a touch of local flavor added in. We also loved that we were dining among mostly locals, something I love whenever traveling.... More

Staying at the Hilton I was looking for something close and highly recommended on Tripadvisor and we weren't let down. Although we had some trouble communicating initially it wasn't long and we had an English speaking waiter and English menu. The waiter was very helpful with our selections and great with the drinks. All the meals were excellent and so... More

Rincon de Francia was recommended by locals and was a great experience. Great food and a refreshing change from fried plantains

It has been a while that I have not come back to this great restaurant, and to be honest I should have come earlier as their food never fails to reach my palate. We enjoyed the most our excellent, famous and tasty escargots as our starter...huuummmm, simply delicious, then I tried the lamb and my friend the sea bass, both... More

It is not the best neighborhood in town and do not let you the old decoration fool you, because behind doors a great meal is cooking, we were 9 family members and everybody love their dishes. The rabbit was splendid.

A Quito classic. Decades in the same site. It is obvious they care very much about the materials and inputs of the food they buy in the kitchen. You will find a very traditional French and international menu, well done, with excellent Quality. Always a very good choice. You will leave never disappointed

Rincon de Francia is a traditional restaurant and without any doubt one of the best in Quito. They prepare the best "Escargots" in Quito and the Sea-bass (Corvina) is the best I have ever eaten. Try "Corvina flambeado al Pernod", "Corvina en salsa de Champagne" or "Corvina con Almendras". Another speciality is their "Crepe Suzette" flambeado al Cointreau" for desert.... More
