Good Experience

This restaurant was around the corner from our hotel and came with a good recommendation. Yes, the space is indeed cavernous, but somehow one does not feel it is a negative. Nice atmosphere, large and somewhat cavernous. Very attentive wait staff. Tried the caesar salad which was way over dressed to the point that the lettuce was soggy. Instead of incorporating the anchovies into the dressing, they drape 2 fillets over top of the salad. Not enough garlic or parmesan cheese. For the entree I tried one of my favourite pastas,... More

I agree with others that the food and service were excellent (and plentiful). Our large group was served quickly before we departed for our late-night flight back to the U.S. The atmosphere was fine for us, but I can see that it is not exactly conducive for an intimate dining experience.

You'll notice that the title is in the past tense. Anyway, let's start with the positives. Great food, good service. Good value for money - food like this would cost a fortune in Europe. So, why in the past tense? The restaurant has moved . The previous location consisted of a number of smallish rooms. There was a homeliness to... More

The atmosphere and the service we got at La Briciola was outstanding! I didn't like much the carpaccio of salmon but the raviolis were excellent.

We just loved this restaurant so much that we returned again in our few days in Quito. Note: TripAdvisor has the wrong address listed but the correct address is noted on the restaurant's website: corner of Isabel la Católica and Francisco Salazar close to Radisson and Swissotel. They started us off with a delicious complimentary basket of breads with olive... More

This is a nice and cozy italian place in Quito. Amazing pasta, perfect sea food, and remarkable beef. Great food plus spectacular service make this a perfect place for dinner in this beautiful city.
