Amazing salads!

I ate here as a solo business traveler. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. The food was very good.

I went with all my family, 13 people, to have lunch. We ordered for entrance: shrimps fried bananas and avocado soup. We ordered for main courses: trout, rice with shrimps and chicken. And for desserts: fried bananas and chocolate cake. I have to tell that only the chocolate cake was good. I went there because of a great experience couple... More

I can't tell how this restaurant gets all of these great reviews as the food was not spectacular by any means and was lacking in many respects. I and my boyfriend ordered the Trucha Al Horno and were a bit disappointed. I felt that part of the fish was over seasoned and part was bland. Yet it was the best... More

We went there once because of the reviews on Tripadvisor, but it was so good, we had to go a second time. First of all is the food brilliant. Well-prepared, enough and presentet nicely on the plates. The menu has a variety between well-known courses and specialities of the house. The personnel is warm, professionel, very serviceminded and most of... More

We had the privilege to dine in this restaurant when very few customers were present. We went early. The hostess was amazing as she helped us with our order. She took us on an excellent Ecuadorian culinary experience as we ordered many small portions to share slowly. She also let us know when we should stop ordering as we were... More

This restaurant has it all: great food, great service, reasonable prices and a lovely atmosphere. My meals there, and yes, I went back for more, were the best I had in Quito. The ceviche was delicious, and I had a salad that turned out to be meal-worthy in its own right, with avocado, quail eggs, hearts of palm and a... More

After a month in South America we'd become rather bored of the soup, meat, 2 veg, massive carbs diet that seems to be the culture. We needed flavour, herbs, dressings, no slab of meat! We got exactly that with mozzarella in a tomato sauce, pasta with pesto, the house salad and dessert. Not fancy or cheffy but good. Service was... More

Fried Bananas was recommended to my by another traveler whom I had met in Mindo. My parents and I decided to try it, and it has been by far one of the highlights of my time in Quito. The place is warm and inviting, and the staff were lovely, especially Natalie. We ordered the hot mozzarella with honey which is... More

Some of the very best Ecuadorian food we have eaten. We chose this place based on the TripAdvisor review and were not disappointed. We were very lucky to visit on an unusually slow evening, so our choice of table and the service was terrific. Very reasonable prices for Ecuador, which is not always as inexpensive a place to eat as... More
