Description: Fried Bananas is a cozy restaurant with a casual and relaxed atmosphere, right next to the main tourist plaza in La Mariscal. Our prices are much lower than one would expect given the quality of the food and service. We feature a variety of seafood, Ecuadorian specialties, grilled dishes, pasta, salads, vegetarian delights and more; all creatively prepared and as fresh as can be.You will want to be sure to save room for one of our signature desserts.I suggest checking out our website where you can browse the menu, read reviews and get more information about us.HOURS OF OPERATION: MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 12:30-20:30 SATURDAY 12:30 16:30

We have been to several good restaurants but have found the food in Quito to be very expensive for what it is. Fried Bananas was by far the best value we have found in a restaurant here. The food was very nicely done and came really fast. The price was exceptionally good for the quality of the food. The proprietress... More

Saw the reviews on Trip Advisor and since it was close to our hotel thought we would give it a try. We were expecting a good value and it exceeded our expectations. Been back two more times, each time we bring someone else and then they keep going back. Everything we had was good especially the pasta dishes. Only item... More

Rang the bell as per previous posts said you needed to do. Greeted by the owner and given a menu to look at. Prices are very fair for a place with food prepared like this. Enjoyed the delicate avocado cream soup and racclette. Nice atmosphere which you can't tell from outside. Main dishes were a pesto pasta, trout and rice/veggie... More

The food was very good and service came with a smile. The menu doesn't have a lot of choice but thats no bad thing. The Hot Chocolate is great.

What's not to like?? A delicous T-Bone steak for $7.00, a pleasant atmosphere, attentive service and cold beer. The ceviche is good too! It's a little hard to find but worth the effort most certainly.

I ordered the chicken salad and my girlfriend got chicken saffron pasta. Both were large portions and absolutely delightful! Highly recommended :)

I went there on a recommodation of a friend and it was definitively worth it! The restaurant looks very nice, relaxing music was played in the background and the waiter was taking care of his job and even came back to ask how everything is. The menu is small, but the plates lovely arranged and perfectly cooked! Good value for... More

Don't get thrown off track by the name, which just refers to the signature dessert. This probably the best sit-down restaurant in the Mariscal area, considering both price and quality. Enjoy!

The good was very good and not expensive being 2 streets from "plaza Foch". For the starters, nothing to say: perfect. For the main course, we asked a fish in the oven, and received a fried fish... Which was disappointing. Nevertheless I would recommend this place in Quito, mariscal.
