Lovely spot to bring friends

My husband and I live in Quito and this is one of our favorite places to bring visiting friends. Just went a couple weeks ago. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced for a nice place in Ecuador, as are the coffee offerings. We went for brunch and I had the chocolate chip pancakes. The... read more

I like de view of my city in this place, you can see de south, centre and north part of Quito in the same table that you seat. Plus, they have doggies to share with you a good music from a band. I don't sure if this place is dog friendly and you can go with your pets, but I... More

The view is spectacular and reason alone to go to this charming, friendly and eclectic restaurant. We had very good service and were delighted with stories from the owner - about her life in Quito. She speaks excellent english and went out of her way to help with our "customized" food orders. We took a cab there since it was... More

View is great, food is ok, service is hit and miss. You defo pay for the view. A dinner for one (starter, main, a drink) see me back $36. Would still recommend Cafe Mosaico for the view. Just don't expect great food and service.

According to their website and their door sign, they open at 1 on Saturdays. We waited nearly 20 minutes, rang the doorbell and nobody opened. We were looking forward to enjoying the view with a big family group. Note to the owners: if you are not going to open at that time, don't say so in your signs!!!

I had the worst service in Quito in this cafe. Management have to teach personal not to be so rude, as the way they treat clients is not acceptable. The tone and phrases they use make people go out of the place. We've waited 15 to get the menu, than 15 min to order, than 30!!!! (i'm not lying!!!) min... More

This restaurant has an unbeatable view which becomes more spectacular as the sun sets. Go on a clear day if you can and you'll have a great view of old town and surrounding areas. It's located just below a great park which has a network of good walking trails. Food was good with a Greek influence and the service was... More

This is one of the must-go to cafes in Quito. Its reputation precedes it, so it has much to live up to. Our host managed to get us a table overlooking the city with an awesome view of Old town Quito. We found the service welcoming and had a fantastic meal. There is some time limit to how long you... More

The view is awesome, especially at night. Great for chat and perfect if you are foreigner or going with friends and family. The menu offers good variety, even for vegetarians. Food quality and taste is very good, too. If you don't have a car, the best way is to take a taxi, it's not too far from the historic downtown.

It's the most romantic spot in Quito, velvety ambiance, delicious foods, a NYC-style jazzy music show. A wonderful memory of our trip.
