Groovy place to eat and drink in a lively area of Quito.

Groovy decor. Really loved it. Very over the top artsy! The wait staff were friendly, bi-lingual and helpful. The menu is great, offering a large variety of upscale modern food choices, both large and small. I had mussels and they were great! My dining companions also liked their dishes.

Though we enjoyed most of the places we ate on Quito, this was our favorite by a rather wide margin. I am surprised it is not more highly rated, though it is expensive. The best food, and highly creative, serving things that I don't think you can get most other places. Probably a good place to visit once you have... More

8$ for a teenytiny fondue with cheese and pepper that was barely an entrée... Good but far from what you normally can get in Ecuador for that price. Waitresss nice but looked a little too surprised when we said no to more food or wine (we weren't prepared for that, being on a budget). She was pressing and forgot us... More

They serve very good fod in this place. The menu is like a illustrated book you can not stop reading. Service is very friendlij and attentive. It is located in a very lively neigbourhoud in Quito and it is fun watching things go on and people watching while enjoying dinner. Reasonable prices. We would visit again.

We went as a group of 9 - two families. We had a wonderful big table in the eclectic rear of the restaurant and had a fabulous range of tapas style dishes, which were inventive and tasty. This was a really fun place to have dinner. The service was a bit slow at first till we asked them to hurry... More

The interior is so colorful and strange that it borders to the surreal. I thought it was wonderfully amusing to gaze at the art/decorations/whatchamacallit that was put up all over the restaurant, and with all the lovely bright colors on the walls, the enormous windows in all parts of the restaurant, the different types of furniture that was being used,... La Boca del Lobo is a great restaurant, it has a really good option of dishes for every taste (try the salmon). The recommended wines are really good and you can enjoy your meal surrounded of colors and stories like in a tale. It is not so expensive for the place but it is not cheap. Any way you pay... More

Eclectic menu and nice decor. The food was good but not extraordinary considering the high prices. Service was quick. The next door pub (same name) had a limited beer selection. I would recommend going there for a special occasion.

A cracking atmosphere/surroundings and a wonderful place to have a drink.... Our group of 9-10 were looking to eat, however, some of the food was cold and the portions small which was a shame when considering the price of the food.... Maybe it was a bad night, I don't know, but I left wishing that I had just had a... More
