Forget about the etiquette and fancy dishes. This is the real and typical huachaca restaurant to go and get the best seafood. There is a wonderful relation between Quiality, Price, and Quantity. If you are lucky, you can have alive music while you enjoy the lucnch

We had lunch here and seemed to be the only tourists.  We ended up sharing two empanadas and a very rich seafood soup which was enough for both of us.  Most people rock up for lunch at 1-1.30pm so don't be alarmed if you arrive at 12.30pm and there is no one there. It was packed when we left. The... More

Old style place, poor forniture, but the food is really flavorful. The service was pretty quick and the fish great! I got empanada de mariscos and fried reineta with papas doradas. Excelent, even the price was ok

Friendly staff and delicious seafood at a value price you can't beat anywhere in the States! My wife and I came here on some recommendations from friends and hotel staff (Sheraton in Vina del Mar) and were so happy we came. The bowl of seafood, with clambs, shrimp, fish, and more was piping hot and delicious!

I took always all my clients from differents countries there, after our city tour in my convertible, always great fresh seafood, live musician, is a big restaurant, so do no go there in a hurry, the service is slow but between the complimentary Pisco sour and the fresh bread with typical Chilean spice salsa, you will love the scene so wait... With little knowledge of the city, we went on recommendation. Our waiter was Hector and with his limited english and our limited spanish, he was able to recommend some wonderful dishes and we had a most wonderful meal.

I was the only single diner and was overlooked among the many tables with big groups. I was eventually able to give my order. But it didn't arrive until I asked three times. It took over an hour to get a bowl of soup.

The most popular sea food restaurant in Valparaiso. Huge dishes. If you are looking for a popular place to eat sea food you should go to Los porteños. Is it always almost full, specially on weekends. I think is open only at lunch, but not sure. Try "mariscal cocido". Perfect to avoid hangover (beer+sea food).
