We were told this place was great and had to jump through everything to get reservations at 10 pm. We got there and the place was only half full. Huh. The dinner I order (crab dish) was bland and fishy. My friend really loved her dish (so that's why I'm giving it a 3). I really didn't like my dish.... More

This restaurant is a bit hard to find in Valpo, but worth it. The building has real character inside... an old renovated home. A real charming spot. We started with the mussels, which had a great sauce, and I had a black ink fettuccine with seafood, with a seafood broth-like sauce, which was all it needed and very flavourful. Piscos... More

We enjoyed our lunch here with a fabulous view - Italian style pastas paired with Chilean wine. Pasta e Vino is also located in a great area of Valparaiso with many art galleries nearby. There are also wonderful views of the port from this area! Highly Recommend!

This is a great place for lunch in Valparaiso, with lovely views over the dock and bay area and excellent pasta. However, at around £40 ($60) for just one course for two it was pretty much London prices that we found a bit surprising.

The location is lovely with a view out to the bay. The menu consists of a variety of home made pastas they all sounded interesting and delicious. We started with a salad followed by crab gnocchi (standout dish) and squid ink seafood pasta. For dessert we enjoyed tiramisu. There are a good selection of wines available. It is a bit... More

I never write reviews or complain about restaurants but this evening debacle needs to be told to save all those that benefit from this forum. Having been to the old pasta and vino, it was one of my favorite places. Tonight, I was served unsafe dead mussels with a generous portion of sand in every bite of pasta .Scallops cut... More

The view of the terrace is amazing! The food is superb! Had the ravioli with lamb and prunes my husband had the ravioli with locos and cheese! Both were great!!! Nice wine selection, service is fast and very good. A downside...main dishes are just pasta or gnochis italian food has plenty of fish, beef, etc!

They have done a fantastic job with this restaurant, impossible to fault. The terrace is a perfect spot to watch the moon come up over the mountains behind Valpo, squid ink pasta with seafood was amazing, the service could not have been better, even down to the selected music really set the mood. You pay for it ($100AUD for small... More

Our B&B highly recommended Pasta y Vino, so we made it a point to dine here. The restaurant was always very crowded, so I recommend a reservation if you want to dine here on a weekend or during peak hours. Prices were a little higher here than we were seeing in other comparable restaurants around Chile, but they still could... More
