The best meal we had in Chile

Wonderful service from a terrific waiter who spoke great English and was determined to help us even when he couldn't remember the word for "walnut" ("it is the one with a shell this size, and when you crack it open, it looks like a little brain"). His suggestions for wine and beer were excellent... read more

I reserved a table there at 15:00, I have a little baby and we arrived 15:30, but I called that I would arrive late. I arrived at the same moment they was closing the kitchen. The hostess said, sorry I just close it. I can not believe, that this restaurant does not care about if you arrive late for a... More

The setting of the restaurant is wonderful: based in an older building, part of the Gran Hotel Gervasoni, has a very Mediterranean terrace with a wonderful palm tree, and a cozy dining room upstairs. The staff is very attentive and although not always fluent in English, they try to explain things as well as they can. The emphasis of the... More

Everything about this place was amazing. The service was stellar, with knowledgeable, kind, and attentive waiters. The food was delicious (even the bread as a free appetizer was out of this world!). And to top it off, the wine selection was huge and diverse with something for everyone's taste buds. The atmosphere was delightful and the design/view is relaxing and... More

A bit pricey...but lovely view & venue. My pasta carbonara was delicious. We shared the salad with pears & walnuts because it was so large. Lovely dressing. We went on a Sunday afternoon about 3pm and missed the crowds at lunch & dinner. Highly recommend a visit.

We went for lunch during the week. The food and service were great, but the highlight was the cocktails. The bartender took incredible care making each drink, and they were delicious. The final bill was higher than expected, but worth it.

In the heart of Valpo, this exquisite place really stands out in both setting and quality. The menu and food had you craving for more, and the flavours really did take you to Italian heartlands. Blend this with the terrace out back (descending a lovely spiral staircase to get there), you really are transported to new highs of gastronomic experience.... More

The restaurant has a terrace overlooking Valparaiso (but there are alternative restaurants with better views). Service was friendly and effiicient. Bread was served with an appetiser, the bruschetta was huge and tasty (four small slices of bread) and the main course (four cheese gnocchi) was large and pleasant although the gnocchi itself was unrefined.

All said in the title. People are very friendly and the food was really tasty (at least the pasta we had). You have a beautiful view over the sea and city if you are lucky.

It's the second time I visit this restaurant, it used to be located on another street but now it has a better view of Valparaiso (ask to go to the terrace). It maintains its good quality. Great pasta dishes, wine and other cocktails. Do make a reservation in advance, and yes, it is a little pricey. ps: try the shrimps... More
