Great restaurant in Valparaiso. I was visiting my daughter, who is studying here so I have a lot of time alone. I loved the food and atmosphere of this restaurant. There is a man spinning the best music quietly in the background. Bee Gees, Beatles, Chilean music, he had the right touch! My Osso bucco was amazing! Just chill and... More

Chilean cooking is not great at flavour, but here they at least understand texture. Nice use of walnuts (mariposas) in the mash (pulpo). The rabbit was of the bleached-white, farm-fattened kind. I've been to Vinilo four times, and the rabbit's the best. No horse on the menu. They sell local beer, but unfortunately, it's not very good. A great example... More

We enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant very much! There was no English menu, but the waitress was able to assist us with most translation. Service was quick as was the food arriving to our table. Reasonable prices as well. Nice view of passing street action if you like that sort of outlook.

Good local food and wines. All dishes were very tasty. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Well worth a visit. Tip - Try the local digestive after your meal.

We had a delicious lunch here, with excellent service from the friendly, smiling staff. They take pride in their unique dishes, which use local ingredients and preserve some traditional Chilean flavors. We had ceviche, mashed potatoes with orange and mint and Mapuche sopapillas with salsa - fantastic!!! Vinilo means vinyl and they play jazz and big band music from their... More

Passed this place during the day and made a note to come back in the evening, and were well rewarded. Food is excellent- one of the best out of all the chilean restaurants we visited in 3 weeks. It's 'modern' chilean cuisine, but here that doesn't mean you're being served off the wall flavours in tiny portions, it means getting... More

We were taken here by our Chilean friend and the dinner was delicious! The restaurant is one of many in the Cerro Allegre but it will alway have a special place in our hearts - especially since it was here we were introduce to Pisco Sour!

This was recommended by our guide as one of the best in Valparaiso and it don't let us down. We both had sword fish and it was delightful. The service was great and they tried very hard to overcome the language barrier.

We had one of our most delicious meals in Valparaiso here. The service was fantastic, the waiter went through in English the traditional Chilean dishes on offer and answered all out questions. We shared an entree of these crispy delicious flat bread with a traditional popular fresh dip made off parsley, lime, tomatoes, onion, garlic - it was too die... More
