We were at the ViaVia café in Valparaiso in May 2014. OK, admitted, we are Belgian and were craving for a "Duvel" after months of travelling in South America, but the great location, nice atmosphere and friendly welcoming will convince you too! It is no question Belgian beers are the best and combined with some great fresh dishes this is... More

This restaurant offers a tasteful selection of delicious Belgian food (like stoofvlees) and has a broad selection of veggie meals. All cooked with natural ingredients. We will definitely go back, and will try out other via via's as well!

We actually dined twice in a day, for lunch we had some very good chicken and pesto pasta, which was very good. We came back for dinner, and it was good but not amazing. We had meatballs and chips. Chips were home made and was excellent. Overall some nice food. The crepe was excellent.

As Belgian and as being away from home for a long time, it was really nice to find great Belgian food in this lovely restaurant. They have a nice terrasse where you can enjoy your Belgian beer, waffle, beer stew and cheese croquettes. Service is friendly and fast!

Visited here as four people on new years eve. Enjoyed drinks outside on the terrace area, good Belgium and fruit beers. Headed inside for dinner, staff very relaxed and friendly, even stored our drinks in their fridge to keep cool for midnight. Set dinner and al la carte reasonable priced and good quantity. The waffles were massive and chocolate mouse... More

We were looking forward to eating here, based on other reviews and the proximity to our hotel. We ended up slightly disappointed, however. The English-style fish and chips seemed like they were fried in bread crumbs rather than batter. Pasta was bland. On the plus side, the pisco sours were served very cold, and they were kind enough to seat... More

We stayed in the Loft Apartment at ViaVia over Christmas and we really enjoyed it. The staff are universally lovely, especially managers Ewoud and Wilson who were consistently very friendly, helpful and efficient (and we're still staggered at how many languages Ewoud speaks!!). The facilities were also very good, with comfy beds and a kitchen that allowed us to cook... More

On out first day in Valparaiso we ate at ViaVia restaurant and were very impressed by the quality of food and service we got. Service was personal and warm and the food was better than the menu made it sound. For a gourmet food experience with friendly service go here, you won't be disappointed. We ate a bit early (6:30pm)... More

What a lovely find! I did a double take when I saw that via vias daily lunch specials board included a vegetarian option, something of a rarity, no, impossibility in Chile. Yes, there are plenty of good looking meat dishes too. I went there for dinner, and had the vegetarian croquettes. They dish was fantastic. Perfectly crisp soy based croquettes... More

We called in on Via Via as we were climbing the hill to our hotel, and what a nice surprise we found. We sat the gardens which we clean, private and quiet, apart from the sounds of some beautiful music. Our hosts were charming, and extreme helpful with advice about onward travel. After calling in that first time we have... More
