Amazing Thai Food, but Expensive.

This food was so good. There are a couple of reasons it didn't get 5 stars though. After a few months travelling around Chile - I'm not really certain if the food at this restaurant actually is amazing, or if I have just been deprived of really good food for a long while. The salad to start was... read more

Just an incredible little Thai restaurant. Not cheap but worth every penny. The soup, the curry, the desert is made to perfection. I was very surprised to find such Thai food in Valparaiso, Chile. This is a must if you want to experience a little different type of food in Chile w/ flavors. It is an upscale restaurant and great... More

The curry dishes were to die for, and everything was very elegantly prepared and presented. The staff answered all of our questions and catered to our dietary (vegetarian/gluten free/dairy-free) needs. Try the piscos with lemongrass and the sorbet!

This is not Thai food at all. I don't know what they try to be. It's more like India or something. No English menu available... (Location with tourists...) I stopped eating and ask the check. Because of the terrible taste. I never did this before in a restaurant. The staff is horrible not hospitable at all. Only the Latina girl... More

How surprised and delighted we were to find a Thai restaurant in Valparaiso. The waiters were friendly and helpful. The food authentically Thai and the beers were local and tasty. It was great to have some spicy food served very attractively and highly delicious. I wanted to come again the next night but my husband persuaded me to branch out.... More

The food good. The waiters and bartender awful. There was a hair in my food, BLACK, and no apology at all. I'm blonde and they told me that nobody could be (then me?) Unacceptable !!!

Found this great place through tripadvisor in an area of good restaurants, was not dissapointed nice fresh crisp salad to start, followed by a seafood green curry and a sorbet to finish all very good quality food with a combination of asian and chilean flavors, my wife had the sqiud stuffed with crabmeat which was also extremely good and well... We had a great experience at Samsara, however the dishes were pretty expensive. They did include a salad, main dish and dessert though. Dessert was our favourite part. They could use more artwork to improve the atmosphere. Overall it was a great restaurant.

In a place we didn't expected, an excellent thai food (one of the best I had so far). It's expensive but worth it, the portions are huge. For 13 000 pesos you get a nice little salad, your dish, some rice and a good dessert. Service was OK and the restaurant was opened late. Try the coconut - chicken soup... More

A great atmosphere, staff was friendly and efficient, and the food was perfectly prepared. Even though it's not the Thai style I was used to from Thai restaurants in Australia, it was really close. Wines were not as expensive as on other restaurants and desserts were superb (even though they weren't thai but more of a fusion).
