Recently visited Santiago and decided to take a Private Guided Tour of the city. During our trip we stopped to have a wine tasting lunch at Baco. Baco is great because it has one of the largest ranges of wines available by the glass in Chile! Excellent. The food is decent (though not Michelin star quality). However, for a place... More

Sort of hip for Santiago, great food, extensive wine selection. Very nice place to hang out over a long dinner with nice wine.

This is one of my "never miss" restaurants when I go to Santiago. Last time I went two times and was satisfied 100%. The first time I went to fresh oysters and their marinated salmon with dill. Second time did the oysters again and had the beef stew, french style. It was fantastic. It is impressive how this restaurant has... More

We visited twice during our stay in Santiago. We went on a recommendation from our tour guide and other guests in our hote. The food is simple but did not dissappoint and the wine list extensive. We had two lovely evenings there.

Baco Vino y Bistro offers excellent food. We were a party of five, and everyone had something different. All were hits! Wine list was good as well.

While we waited for a table for the two of us, we tried to get a drink at the bar, and the barkeep said something like "sorry, the bar is full, you'll have to wait" - maybe I'm the weird one, but in cases like this I'm used to just getting a drink at the restaurant bar and drink it... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and tour guide, independently of each other. My wife and I walked there along Providencia Avenue from our hotel, the Meridiano Sur Petit. We had a reservation for an early seating on a week night but I do not think it was required. We were seated at a quiet table, with a pleasant... More

Very nice place, the food and service is very good. You have to make reservations otherwise you will have to wait a long time. It is not a romantic restaurant, it's more a family or business restaurant. A lot of foreigners.

wines are there to be discovered, food is bistrot-like but very well made -- french casual style. Prices are by far the best in town. Parking can be difficult in Providencia.

This place has a full menu which includes a wide assortment of entrees, main dishes and dessert. I had a quiche Lorraine which was superb, my partner had his best foie grass he had ever tried even at Paris. It is a simple place; not a fancy one; but plates and service are overstanding and prices are quite less than... More
