Really Good Chilean Coussine

The panoramic drive out Santiago is just the apetizer for a wonderfull and extravagant architecter that match perfectly with the contry Chilean dishes. The Merken al olive is a must for anyone that likes spice food.

The restaurant design is quite amazing (as if we were inside a tree), but the extravaganza is not the only thing that's eye catching. Food is waaay too expensive and has nothing especial in it. Small portions. Very disappointed.

This is a great restaurant I have been more than once. Besides the fact that Cajon is a must seen place near Santiago, the trip is only complete when you finish it with a great meal. There are many good restaurants around, but if you have kids, this is the right place to take them! They will say you hAve... More

This restaurant is truly bizarre but you have to love it for it's quirkiness. The friendly dog coming to greet everyone outside was a nice touch too, especially as it was happy to pose for photos in the entrance! The food was fine and the pisco sours were strong but the surroundings somehow make the food less important, which is... More

This restaurant has a vaguely Disney quality to the architecture and decor of the place. It is whimsical without being kitschy. The back garden is also lovely. The food here is your standard Chilean meat and potatoes, but this is a cut above the competition. We found the service to be slow and inattentive, but it was a busy Sunday... More

We recently ate at Casa Bosque and greatly enjoyed it. We had our 4 month old with us in a stroller, and they went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable place to sit with the stroller beside us. The food was excellent and our waitress was great!

Fantastically interesting architecture and well worth visiting as it looks like something out of "the Hobit". Skip the food as best described as average. Dishes where misrepresented(even allowing for translation) but the meals in our group of four varied from extremely tough to average. Side dishes covered in rich creamy source and meat that was cooked on a BBQ too... More

We are Chileans, quite used to enjoying quality food in special places. .. in our constant search, we found this restaurant, prices were expensive, but considering the ambience and location we thought it was considerable. Personally, I didn't like the architecture but have to admit it can be magic for children. Service was good, fast and polite, however, when you... More

Just the fact to be there, is very nice. You can be long minutes watching inside the restaurant. Amazing shapes which come from directly from the trees , comfortable chairs and tables. Service and food very good. Try to make reservations with enough time.

The picturesque Maipo Valley and the imaginative architecture of this restaurant are enchanting. As you walk in you will see on the left an enormous charcoal grill and a wood-fired oven beyond that. These are seemingly full of wonderful looking steaks and other meats being freshly grilled. Unfortunately, it’s all just appearances. When the meat gets to your table, it’s... More
