My husband and I enjoyed very much the excellent quality and taste of the food. We visit this restaurant each time we arrive to Santiago and we are always happy. Service remains the same with the not so young but efficient and welcoming waitresses. Due to our age we do not eat big plates and we shared a delicious" tortilla... More

This restaurant specializes in Basque cuisine. Apparently, Pinpilinpausha means butterfly in the Basque language. I can recommend the fish (we ate corvina, congrio and salmon) dishes. We also tried some appetizers.....stay away from the empanadas de mariscos....it was not good at all, but was the only disappointment of the meal. The service is very good, professional, and reserved. The wine... More

Restaurant was very nice and service was quite good. We ordered machas a la Parmesana, clams with Parmesan cheese and they were very good. However, they were the last of what was left so not enough clams to make a full order. I am nearly certain they charged for the full order but no big deal. We also had pulpos... More

I unfortunately did not like this place, my food was simply a prepared frozen dish that was heated in a couple of minutes 😔

We were visiting Santiago and local friends recommended this place. What a great lunch we had! It starts with the rolls they bring for starters nice taste and very crisp. We had the Congrio fish and pasta. Both delicious. Service was also very attentive and nice. We will definitely go back on our next visit to Santiago.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch. We had heard good things about this place, but we thought it was a little expensive for a routine lunch. However, it started raining when we were standing outside, so we went in. My wife had the filete de congrio with mashed potatoes and I had the escalopines de congrio. Both were... More

We have enjoyed meals at Pinpilinpausha in Santiago (on Isidora Goyenechea in the El Golf district) quite a few times over the past number of years. We no longer visit Santiago as often, but we made a point of going to dinner here with family on our most recent visit in August 2014, and Pinpilinpausha remains as superb as ever.... More
