Wonderful Chilean Seafood

We had a local tour guide who suggested this place for lunch. Great choice. It is upscale, filled with locals, and has lots of seafood choices. There were English menus available. We had Congrio (firm white fish), and Sea Bass entrees. Chilled raspberry juice. Wonderful fresh bread. A... read more

Seafood menu was very good with a lot of choices. The restaurant was crowded and noisy and the seats were very close to each other. It was one of the few restaurants open on a Sunday

Amazing lunch of abalone, Caldillo de Congrio and Canalone stuffed with Centolla. I need to leave Chile soon or I will be huge! Great service. Great food.

Several times we wanted to try this restaurant as we saw it was always full of people. The first impression is OK, the menu looks good and offers a great variety of all kind of fish, seafood and meat, although the prices are higher than average for this type of restaurant. What a disappointment when we received our dishes. We... More

Really enjoyed eating here the wait staff spoke more English than the other places we went and were so nice. The Ceviche is really good, they have a nice variety of ways that you can have many of their dishes not a one I tried was bad. Plus it was right across from where we stayed.

Relation between quality and price is very good. Exquisite food with big portions. Atmosphere is perfect to meet with family and friends, quite crowed. Location very central.

I visited this restaurant three times in my short visit to Santiago, it was that good. The staff were very helpful, helping me choose the classic Chilean dishes I was seeking. On my last visit I sat at the upstairs balcony which has a great view out to the mountain. The food was tasty and included very generous helpings. Very... More

I came across this restaurant by chance and liked the lack of table clothes and the fact that they catered to a lot of locals with kids -these are usually good signs. Indeed, the place was lively and friendly, and the waiter helpful and not pushy. I wanted to taste basic fare, so I eschewed the assorted seafood appetizers that... More

Stopped in on a holiday because it was one of the few restaurants open close to our hotel. The service was excellent, and the waiter even provided an English menu which was essential for us. We had the abalone empanadas and parmesan razor clams. Both were delucious. We thought the prices were good, servings were large, and drinks were strong.... More

I'll get the good points out of the way, the restaurant is in a nice building, courteous staff, and when we asked to return and change an order, they didn't question our request. Now, the bad. We started with an order of razor clams au gratin (machas a la parmesana) which was made with pregrated bagged parm that sort of... More
