This is a great place indeed. Best Japanese food I have had in a long, long time. Very creative Japanese food with absolute fresh ingredients. Outstanding quality by every measure. The place is on a corner located in one Santiago's trendy neighborhoods, Alto Las Condes. The service provided by the staff was also top quality, attentive, kind and very alert... More

If you're looking for traditional Japanese food, this is the place to go. The waiter that get the food orders knows everything about ingredients and is very, very careful in understanding what you really want to prove. Fair prices, very charming facade, interiors OK.

No one at the Ichiban understands a word of Japanese, but the sushi and the service is up to Japanese standards. A nice ambience, too. My wife and I were literally 'blown away.' We returned at lunchtime on a weekday to sample the bento, and that too could hold its own back in Japan.

Ichiban has the most delicious sushi I have ever tried. Great place and excellent service. Sushi, other appetizers, main dishes, and even the desserts are exceptionally good. Will be coming back for sure. I highly recommend this place!

You will always find the freshest fish in this place. What they serve is nothing like the best! You will find some very unusual rolls here, but very tasty!

Simply the best, perfect dishes, comfortable scene, a bit expensive but worth every cent. Try the sake sours.

We used to come here to get good California style sushi. Unfortunately its become as tasteless as most other sushi in Santiago, but with better rice. Very disappointing.
