It's a great place to visit in Santiago, one of the MUST of the city, in the middle of Lastarria neighborhood, the food it's ok, but the ice cream... wow, really great, no additives, all natural flavors, no colorants, (did you know pistachio it's not green?). also have a new place in the middle of... read more

There are wide variation of ice cream. Taste is not too sweet, but with a natural flavor of fruits.

The ice cream is creamy, delicious and surprising! You can try as many flavors as you want and then decide on your order. A great treat on a hot summer afternoon.

We sat outside in the terraced area, and ordered from the menu, coffee, water, and ice creams. The cafe helado my companion had was very good, and my Lucuma & Dulce de Leche ice creams were great...what a treat in the summer (March) heat! It is certainly the best in Chile, but not quite as good as Rome's gelatos. I... More

If you are visiting Santiago, I recommend you try this ice cream shop out. Simply being in the presence of a mob of hungry people is an experience in and of itself. Would I go back next time I'm in Santiago? Probably not.

We stopped here for ice cream on the recommendation of our Santiago tour guide. The ice cream was certainly gourmet and delicious, but the experience was not the greatest. The staff were not rude, but they were certainly not friendly or helpful. Price was reasonable. Unfortunately, the sitting area in front of the restaurant is reserved for people who order... More

Staff is surly at both locations I tried, but great artisanal icecream and creative flavours make it worth it! Chilenos certainly love their helados and La Rosa is part of the reason why.

This is the oldest ice cream shop in Santiago. People keep going back to it not only because the ice cream is good but also because each month flavors are changed and they have quiet unusual flavors: We tried orange-ginger, red pepper chocolate and rose. This just has to be the best icecream in Santiago and most likely in all of Chile! It is worth every penny!

You must believe me! I am Sicilian and we (thanks to the Arabs) invented ice-cream. This is a very good place to taste local specialties such as the La Rosa (Rose water scented flavour). Unfortunately there is no terraza to sit and enjoy the icecream that will melt quickly in Santiago's hot summer (January) but you can't have it while... More
