One of the best ice creams in town. Delicious flavors. They have several locations in town. Good coffee also. Average food, OK salads, good empanadas. Go for the ice cream!!

We spent almost a week in Santiago - lucky for us there were two Emporio La Rosa franchises within walking distance of our rental apartment which we visited several times. As someone else has described, there are essentially two lines - line #1 is for paying. You let the cashier know what you want (e.g. how many scoops), pay, and... More

For those of us with no Spanish, but a great affection for ice cream, you pay when you walk in on the left for the number of scoops you want. They give you a slip and you hand that to the maitre d'ice cream. Then you point at what you want. The plain chocolate was dark and awesome. The rose... More

It's beautiful and it has good sandwiches and good postres too. Oh, yes great espressos. But the ice cream is really the star of the place.

Once again my annual visit to Santiago included several stops at Rosa. I recently saw it listed as one of the top ice cream parlors in the world. I agree...and I'm from Boston originally where we consume more ice cream per capita than anywhere. They have some unique flavors of local fruit. I particularly love their chocloate peperoncino ( dark... More

Do yourself a favour and visit this place. The ice-cream is indeed amazing. I loved the rose ice cream, not only because its unusual yet outstanding flabour, but because its perfectly smooth consistency. I regret having tried it only on my last day in Santiago, otherwise I would have been there once a day for the rest of my stay!

Again, i was expecting more. I had the dulce de leche ice cream and my husbamd ordered manjar blanco y chocolate. Both were nice but that was it. I definetely had better dulce de leche ice cream before. It was too sweet and too soon you get tired of it. I recommend it because it has a nice ambience, the... More

I was really excited to try Emporio La Rosa, but in the end I decided not to. When I got there it was about 20-30 minutes before closing and they were sweeping the floor and cleaning up. I stepped inside and all 3 people working there refused to look at or talk to me. I asked if they were closed,... More
