Really nice place to go if you are near. You can choose from a great variaty of flavors. We chose Chocolat Basil and vanillia raspberry and were not dissapointed ! a bit expensive but totally worth it ! Recomendable !

I went to this place on a recommendation. Supposedly it is the most famous ice cream place in Chile. It was just OK, however.

Delicious ice cream. We got the Lucuma and and Chocolate Hazelnut. The Lucuma was delightful. The Chocolate Hazelnut was a little too rich. It's one of the best ice creams we had in South America, but doesn't compare to Italian gelato or high-end American ice creams.

A friend recommended this and the ice cream, along with the variety of flavours, were fantastic! I tried the chocolate orange and cookies and cream and loved both. Location is central in the Lasterria area. Wished I had more time in Santiago to try more.

Top 25 in the world? No. Best in Chile? No. Best in Santiago? It's not that the ice cream is bad, but its really not any different from your average Santiago helado - not worth a special trip.

Emporio La Rosa is billed as a top 20 in the world ice cream place. Yep, no argument here. We all really enjoyed the whole experience from standing in line with folks from around the world to sampling the many unique flavors to bantering with the ice cream servers as we determined what to order. I went with the unique... More

My fiance and I both tried the ice cream bars. I had the Coco (coconut) and he had the one with dulce de leche. The texture of my ice cream was icy and not so creamy...I'm wondering if it was made with coconut milk instead of cow's milk. There was no description so I don't know for sure. The dulce... More

I've only bought ice cream to go from Emporio La Rosa so I can't write about the sit down experience. La Rosa is billed as one of the best ice cream shops in the world which is a bold claim when you think about it. But I can say that the ice cream that I've had at Emporio La Rosa... More

They have a sign saying that they were rated on the 25 best gelato places in the world, and I could believe it... the extra walk (past other gelato places) from our hostel was well worth it (and done several times). Most people get their gelato and walk away/around, but, they do have a patio where they will serve you... More

Great café just across the street from the Singular Hotel. Just at the park. Friendly staff, great coffee, fair prices.
